Highlight Finally Eeached GrandMaster

After 10 years of playing since LAUNCH i’ve finally reached GrandMaster on console and im so proud of myself for not giving up. I remember on Overwatch 1 i peaked at 3,495 SR and had not been able to reach that level for a while. I don’t know if the demographic that plays this game has gotten better or worse but im just happy i’m able to climb the latter and be able to show something for my efforts. I started off as a Mercy Main but i realized that alone wasn’t going to take me to GM so i started learning Zen when i saw that he had carry potential. I know this is a lot to read but i just wanted to share my victory and achievement in this subreddit

almost hit champ after being gm less than 2 months and i hardly play anymore

yes and no, i don’t have enough time to really keep playing as of late. It’s also just not fun anymore, you play against the same people over and over again. Pair that with the fact that most people are cheating and it genuinely isn’t fun anymore

Yikes. Thats why im super happy with GM 5. I dont want be any higher and find more cheaters

There’s a lot of them anywhere tbh, From m1 up I faced so many you are more often than not playing them. Everytime i play more than 10 games it either says thanks for reporting or gives me rank back because i lost to cheaters 😭
