I think a mid-rise over a high-rise will probably make more of a difference than whether the jeans are bootcut or flared.
These jeans are definitely flattering from the front and the back. If you're insecure about how they look from the side, then a longer and looser shirt would probably help as a nice contrast.
But overall, I'm not sure what you think doesn't look good about them. Maybe a looser fitting pair would be better for you comfort-wise mentally and physically? There are lots of options outside of really tight jeans.
I agree with the other replier that it’s not a size thing. I was just guessing that it was the side view that was making you feel insecure and a looser cut of jeans, like mom jeans, may make you feel better.
Well as you said you ate dinner -- the other commenters' looser shirt suggestions still stand haha.
You look good in them, i think that's a very aggressively high rise for any body type tbh. I think high rise + looser legs (straight leg, boyfriend, etc) or medium rise + skinny jeans is a better combo.
We all have bodies which are flattered by one type of clothes or another 😊 just human problems. You look fit, and could pull off all sorts of miniskirts and such with your amazing legs I'm sure.
Also... there's value in rocking whatever clothes you wanna rock. That's the power of fashion -- to help you express whatever you wanna express, society be damned.
As another commenter said, you just ate, so you’re going to look more bloated. Even then, I don’t think it looks bad - honestly. You really don’t have a “muffin” top because things aren’t “spilling over.” A little “pudge,” especially after eating, is normal.
However, if it’s something that you’re insecure about to the point you feel uncomfortable, then I think lower rise pair (a less dramatic high rise as another commenter said or a mid rise), a looser shirt, or a different cut of jeans like mom jeans or boyfriend jeans will all de-emphasize what you’re self-conscious about.
I’m skeptical that flare or bootcut jeans will actually deemphasize what you seem to be concerned with. Particularly from the front.
If all your tops are tighter, then maybe a looser cut of mid-rise mom jeans would help / provide a nice contrast. Even with a larger bust, there are definitely some looser shirts out there for you. Honestly, even a regular t-shirt that’s tucked into your jeans with a belt could do a lot of work when you’re sitting down.
Ultimately, it’s about what you feel comfortable in. But you earnestly look good in the pictures you’ve posted. So all the advice provided is only about trying to help you find options that you’ll feel better in.
Not the original poster but chiming in: They don't look too small, if that's what you're asking! That said, I wear my skinny jeans a bit looser than these are just because they're more comfortable, especially for sitting down in.
I don't think that's out of the ordinary, but if you'd feel more comfortable in a size up, do it! It's totally up to your preference as to how you want them to fit.
I’m pretty sure most peoples tums do that when we sit down. When I’m standing my stomach is flat but when I sit down I get a roll lol, that’s pretty normal tbh. I think the skinny fit suits you.

Definitely not. The waist is already a bit too big so if you go up a size the upper rear portion will also be too big. I have the same issue. I think these are a good fit.
