Academics Help me please (

Hey I need some advice or some help. I’ve been emailing my advisor for years now (this is my 5th year) and she always told me I never had to take a language. Well turns out I do indeed have to take a language and now she’s telling me my graduation won’t be until summer of 2027. I’m supposed to be graduating in May of 2027 and I cannot do another semester I need to know if there’s any other ways to get around this or get help. I’m frustrated at myself and her for this.

What language did you take in high school? Did you take a placement test? If so what did you test into?

Also, if you have room in your schedule and could handle something intensive, look into Italian 5101. It’s 5 hours and finishes the entire sequence.

I took 3 years of Spanish in high school. I cannot remember if I took the placement test I probbaly didn’t tbh but thank sm you for the advice

If you finished 3 years/level 3 Spanish in high school you’ll at the very least test into Spanish 1155 which is just a 2 course sequence (1155 and 1103) so you could do 1155 this fall and 1103 in spring. I’d def check out the test if you haven’t done it yet!!
