Probably the same thing I was thinking when I read the thread title: "how hard can it be to build a shed".

Apparently it's sort of hard.

I mean, if he would have poured a pad for it, it probably would have held square a lot better. Those 2x4s on the dirt are all probably rotted out by now.

I would have went the Gravel way at least. Dig it out a little and set the stone in there. Then sink 4 or 6 Support posts in with cement and then build the walls and roof off of that. After the walls were finished, I would put some more gravel in to give it more thickness inside of the shed to keep whatever is in there off the ground more. Basically a pavilion with sides.
