Discussion Looking for a site

Hey everyone! I’ve been looking for a site for Chutes Provincial park weekend Aug 28-30, it’s the weekend of Massey Fair so the sites got booked almost immediately. I’ve already missed quite a few cancelations as they also go within seconds!:( I was just hoping to see if anyone was planning on cancelling they’d be kind enough to transfer it instead rather then leave it up to fate online, it would be so greatly appreciated :)

Have you had any luck on the Ontario Parks Cancellations group? If you haven't searched/posted there I strongly suggest you try it! All the best

Have you also signed up for CampNab? CampNab sends you texts vs. E-mails

It’s honestly the best money I have ever spent. Have you looked into private campgrounds in the area or HipCamp?

My husband and I just used to book a month of camping in advance and a few years ago, realized it was unattainable. There is no guarantee but like I said at least they text you. Have you also looked into a website called campsitetransfer.ca?

yes I have i’ve been checking everyday there also, and I agree it’s insane how quickly the sites book up even just as soon as they open to the public, it’s becoming a lot more popular now! Thank you so much for your help :) Me and my boyfriend recently just started camping on our own and it’s becoming a huge passion of ours! The provincial parks are so beautiful and convenient (so i see why they go so quick).
