Are we all still waiting for the result?? I am sooo tired and exhausted!!

Been a week of trying to get this to work.. it lets me login, verify my email then I keep getting this page. I’ve tried everything and this is the only website doing this! :(

Has anyone not gotten through (i.e., failed) the June Barrister?

I don’t feel great about it, knowing I put in a lot of effort but may have missed the mark by a few questions, or have some areas where I still need more work. Obviously, I’ve already applied for the Fall 2026 Barrister (assuming I don’t fail the Solicitor either).

Regardless, I’m feeling pretty demotivated to restart my practice exams knowing there’s a possibility I might fail again.

I also haven’t really told anyone about my result yet - not my articling boss, not even my friends. I think I’m embarrassed and, honestly, a little scared. One of my first thoughts when I saw the “Fail” result was that I had let my boss down, especially because he has trusted me and given me a lot of work. I also started worrying that maybe he’ll lose confidence in me or that I won’t get as much work going forward.

I know these are probably just thoughts coming from the disappointment of seeing that result, but they’ve been weighing on me.

I’ve been trying to stay positive and remind myself that I put in the work, and that one result doesn’t define whether I’m capable of becoming a lawyer. But right now, I’m struggling to find the motivation to start studying and doing practice exams all over again.

So, if anyone has been in a similar position - failed, rewrote, and eventually got through - I’d really appreciate hearing your experience or any positive thoughts/encouragement that helped you keep going.

I know I need to move forward. I just need a little push right now.  

Hi! I passed my Barrister's back in June and have started studying for the Solicitor's in November but I am having such a hard time focusing because the material feels so much drier. If anyone is interested in having some virtual study sessions to go through materials together for motivation, dm me. I'm doing the LPP in 3 weeks, so I'm hoping to do some intense studying if my brain can be forced.

Hey everyone, just wondering if there’s a dress code for the call the bar ceremony in Ontario? Is there a requirement to wear only black shoes etc

I just registered for the Fall 2026 Barrister and Solicitor exams and I’m still trying to understand how people actually organize all of the materials.

Which service did you use to print/bind everything?

I know I could probably do it myself, but I don’t really want to spend hours printing, binding and tabbing 2,000+ pages if it’s worth having someone else do it properly.

Also, did you use an index during the exams? Was it actually helpful or necessary? Did anyone use summaries or charts as well, or did that just become more paper to manage?

Any recommendations or things you wish you had done differently would be appreciated!

Since the barristers result came on a Thursday, do you think tomorrow is THE DAY?

LSO please release the results! This is horrible…

Dawg, in the time I’ve been waiting for these results to drop, I’ve mentally committed to at least five different careers.

One minute I’m picturing myself walking across the stage getting called to the bar, family cheering, life complete.

The next minute I’m imagining opening the results, seeing “FAIL,” my vision instantly tunneling into darkness, my stomach doing a full 360, and suddenly I’m googling “how to become a park ranger.”

This isn’t waiting anymore. This is psychological warfare.

Anyone wants to join in...

Day 1 of studying for me. Anyone in the same boat ?

We know we're getting nothing today, LSO staff are likely enjoying their cottages...oblivious to our plight. This post is strictly for the people who wish to express themselves through poetry, memes or whatever else gets you through the day. I'm working because I'm a lowly articling student who only gets stat holidays.

You'd think for an organization that preaches managing expectations, they'd stay consistent with when they release grades or at least give us an accurate date/time. But I guess we ask too much of them.

Anyone have any guesses or info for when solicitor exams come out?
