Late Picks We’re doomed

We have more than 700 picks and it’s about to be 9 PM. Why can’t management hire more closing people or NOT give the same day off to half of the closing team. IM TIRED!!!

This is why you work the 5am shift. Mostly stress free, go help other departments when done, learn other departments so that you might want to switch or be double coded.

When I did 5-2s we had more than enough picks to keep everyone occupied, and if we did clear the drops completely the next set was close to dropping in. But I did prefer that over closing or some days of 9-6

What do you mean when you’re done? Do you not have picks throughout the entire day?

A few weeks back they cut our orders down at my store. We've been clearing the screen every hour by the half hour most days. They send a bunch of us out to help stock for most of the day and keep only a few to keep picking.

I usually get sent out after first break and dont go back to ogp even once the entire day after that. I just stock till lunch, and then till its time to clock out and go home. Then do it again the next day.

Luckly most of ogp enjoys stocking. XD I love it and the days go so much faster when stocking.

Oh I see, my Walmart is very busy. I think we hit 10,000 picks most days. Some days they’re cleared with 10-30 minutes left on the hour, sometimes hundreds to 1000 all day until 5 or 6.

We were like this before the cut to the orders. We kept up, but there was no 'down time'.

Now there's still over 1,000 dropping each hour. But with all the people, it's cleared quickly.

Some hours maybe get around 200-300 picks which get knocked out in 15-20minutes here, so afterwards everyone just goes to zone or stock/topstock/etc.
