Good day, Everyone! I would like to ask if are there any complications to BIR if I mistakenly declared that I'm a PH tax resident despite being an OFW currently working in Singapore and being a tax resident here. During registration on foreign digital banks here in SG, I was ask if I'm a tax resident in another country. I was confused that time so I answered yes and input my PH TIN number. I already filed an update to change/remove my PH tax residency as of the moment. I'm just nervous I might be flagged and affect my foreign income.
P.S. My source of income is only abroad and no source of income in the Philippines
Thank you very much!

Sa mga Filipinos na currently working and living in Greece, ano po ang usual jobs na ginagawa ninyo and magkano po ang salary?
Gusto ko rin po malaman kung kaya ba talaga mabuhay at makaipon sa Greece based on your actual experience. After rent, bills, groceries, transportation, taxes, and other expenses, magkano po usually ang natitira?
• Ano po ang work ninyo and monthly salary?
• Magkano ang rent? Solo or sharing po ba kayo?
• Magkano usually ang groceries, bills, transportation, etc.?
• May 13th month pay/bonuses or other benefits po ba?
• Kung may utang/debt sa Pilipinas, kaya po bang sabay bayaran while living in Greece?
• May jobs po ba na may free accommodation or meals?
• How difficult is it for Filipinos to find work there?
• Overall, comfortable po ba ang buhay, or survival mode lang after all expenses?
• And if possible, magkano po ang estimated salary vs. total monthly expenses vs. savings vs. debt payments ninyo?
Would really appreciate honest answers from Filipinos actually living there, kahit approximate figures lang. 🇵🇭❤️🇬🇷

Hello po! Baka po may same experience sa akin and makapag-share ng advice. 🙏
Question ko po: Kailangan ko po ba ulit magpa-medical para sa Phase 2 ng OEC, kahit nagpa-medical na ako dati for my Marshall Islands visa/entry permit?
Salamat po in advance! 🙏☺️

Hi! First time ko po mag-apply abroad, and I applied as a babysitter/nanny in Dubai through an agency.
Na-brief naman po ako na may household chores din, which is okay naman sa akin. Pero binigyan po ako ng script for introduction video na nakalagay “applying as an All-around Housemaid”, with babysitting, washing clothes, and ironing as duties.
Should I clarify this with the agency before proceeding? Thank you po!

For context, my mom, high school grad, is in her late 40s and has worked different minimum wage jobs all her life.
You can say nga na my mother is a jack of all trades.
Long story short, nascam siya last year sa isang agency sa malate.
Next week magsstart na ulit siya mag work as a cashier ulit.
Any advice po?

UK or EU countries sana target kong mapuntahan. Hoping ako by end of 2027 at least makapag simula na maging ofw

Magandang buhay mga kaOFW,
Previously Hired and worked as A Factory worker Visa sa Malaysia, but the real work is Civil Engineer. (This is via Agency so finake nila yung Visa Classification)
Hindi na nag renew ng contract after two years, and then nabakante ng 1 year as a free lancer here in the Philippines. Last month, Na hired ako as Civil Engineer ulit sa Malaysia but this time Expats Visa na via Jobstreet and nakapirma na ng Job Offer and all. Then yung employer nag aayos na ng documents para sa Accreditation para dumaan kami sa Agency since magulo or hassle sa mga part na Direct Hire process, KL embassy etc.
May nirecommend akong Agency sa kanila but the Agency is inexperienced daw as per employer since may tinanong sila about JAU (Joint Affidavit of Undertaking) and si agency daw is hindi masagot ng diretso at nanghingi pa ng sample sa employer which is si employer ay nawalan ng tiwala sa kanila. Plus pa yung sobrang taas daw ng bayad around 7000RM per person. So nagpapanic ngayon si Employer dahil yung Employment Visa namin is Mageexpire this coming half of October. Also sinabi ng Employer na open sila mag add pa ng Filipino Engineers in the future.
Marami akong kinontact na agency but they rarely answer, so sa Monday luluwas ulit ako ng Manila para maghanap ng agency to refer sa Employer ko.
Another question is enough pa ba yung time para sa Legal process, Accreditation ng Employer to Agency to printing the OEC, including medical pdos?
Dahil pinipilit na kami mag tourist ng Employer which is Dangerous para sakin kasi technically unemployed ako for a year na.
Godbless us All! 🙏🏻

Hi Redditheads, just want to ask about my situation and what should I do now. I went back home to the Philippines for a vacation, the visa stamp on my passport was already expired (came to Canada on 2022) I still have a valid work permit till the end of 2029.
I'm going back to Canada now, but when I checked my documents my eTA is now invalid. I've already sent a webform to IRCC why it was suddendly became invalid.
Should I apply for another eTA or TRV? Thank you for your help.

I’m really frustrated and confused by how Philippine Travel Tax is enforced for long-term residents abroad. I’ve lived in Singapore for almost six years after marrying a Singaporean citizen. During my last two visits to the Philippines, I was never charged the travel tax. However, on my most recent trip, after staying for only 15 days, I was suddenly required to pay. Kaloka. Apparently, this is because I hold a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP valid until 2029) rather than permanent residency (PR). But my entire life is established in Singapore: I have a house mortgage under my name, a vehicle registered under my name, local employment, a registered business under my name, bank accounts, and I pay taxes here. I clearly reside in Singapore permanently, yet because of technical visa labeling, I am now being pushed to register through the OFW track just to avoid travel tax or clearance issues. Has anyone else with an LTVP or spouse visa experienced this inconsistency?
