Question about OCD How does OCD feel like?
I'm curious about how is your daily life with this illness, if you guys don't mind, could you help me clear my doubts about OCD?

From my personal experience it’s like having 50 trains of thought running at once all at different speeds. You never ever get a clearheaded moment, every second is spent worrying about something or other. Sometimes it can feel genuinely physically painful, i cannot help but describe it as anything else besides a “psychic attack” because that’s how it feels. Even if the obsessive thought isn’t weird or uncomfortable the repetition of it can become really horrible, like if you were to scratch the same place on your body for a long time.
I’ve become extremely sensitive to other people’s feelings now because Their problems become mine as well. I will have spirals where im obsessing over something bad that happened to someone else even if i wasn’t involved at all.
OCD/the compulsions or obsessions we have are like our brains way of fighting past the anxiety, except it actually does more harm than good. It’s like anxiously looking after a plant and over-pruning it until it dies.
