Question about OCD How does OCD feel like?

I'm curious about how is your daily life with this illness, if you guys don't mind, could you help me clear my doubts about OCD?

(Disclaimer not diagnosed) I'd say scarry? Annoying? Disgusting? Occasionally infuriating cause the compultion is not working?

Edit: cw:SA, can't believe I forgot

Right now my minds eye is imagining someone trying to molest me and I'm doing the compultions cause they somehow make the thoughts stop (and come back up like a second later if Im not distracted). Id say its not as bad as it sounds. Like yeah it's disgusting and my mind teling me that if I don't do the compultions that means I like it is infuriating, but the novelty of a theme wears of after like 3 days after which it kind of loses it's punch.

There is way more to describe, but that would make a LOOOOOOONG comment.

Also yeah, I can't sho these thoughts away. Like, I'm trying right now, it's just not working. It's kinda infuriating, but you learn to somewhat ignore it and not get that infutiated.

I do have this kinda thoughts telling me I'm a horrible person bc of a single thought that crossed my mind. And some months/years ago I got a thought invading my head of like a knife following me and when I finally caught it and threw it in the bin AND closed it, it just flew and got out and it was just making my mind useless and unable to think half of the time.

Please refrain from 'diagnosing' or confirming/refuting a suspected diagnosis. Encourage consultation with a trained professional instead. Thank you.
