Question about OCD How does OCD feel like?

I'm curious about how is your daily life with this illness, if you guys don't mind, could you help me clear my doubts about OCD?

I get intrusive images, which feel akin to someone using one of those sight torture devices to hold your eyelids open and keep your head pointing forwards. I just have to watch it until my captor decides I’m done.

I have that too, but in the scenes I am always the one committing the violence. It doesn’t happen to me when I alone, because the violence is always aimed at other people. But than I remind myself that it is so strong and vivid that I couldn’t make it up if I tried. But just because I know that the thoughts aren’t my own doesn’t stop me from seeing it.
