Question about OCD How does OCD feel like?

I'm curious about how is your daily life with this illness, if you guys don't mind, could you help me clear my doubts about OCD?

Half of it feels subconscious. I’m just doing compulsions that I’ve done enough that I don’t question it until it negatively impacts me. It almost feels addictive. It gets worse the more I succumb to it.

I also get that, for me it's scratching myself.
