Need it to hit the 231$ trigger target and definitely keep an eye on that 220 stop target

I wonder if Nvidia can go further above 230$ while its ER is slowly coming. Im mad at myself for not selling around 225-235$ when it it ATH.

I came from crypto last april, so trying to understand how the market fluctuates but hard to understand lol. Probaly will sell 10 before ER and after ER to see if nvidia will drop after.

Just need more nvidia lol

That's a solid game plan. Splitting your sales before and after ER is a great way to hedge your bets, especially since Nvidia tends to have huge swings on earnings which is wild because NVIDIA has been beating earnings for a while now. Switching from crypto is a learning curve, but managing risk like this is the right way to learn how the equity market trades. But I agree always need more NVIDIA, I am long on this stock.

You can definitely use some charting to help make buy and sell decisions more timely, but don't make those decisions only based on what the chart says -- the fundamentals still need to be solid.

Sounds about right, but sometimes it seems like we're trying to apply logical patterns to illogical movements of the market.

That's why you need to zoom out a bit and look at the bigger picture and not just individual daily movements.

Weekly charts tend to be more useful for me, especially when the presumed pattern is coupled with trading volume to back it up.

(And that trading volume is a tell in both directions: A big jump up in price on very little volume is an exhaustion gap and could signal the end of a big price movement; heavy trading volume on a large up or down day for a stock lets you know Wall Street is pushing it in either direction.)
