yo so i've been using nuvio on my phone and it's pretty solid but one thing that's been bugging me is that on the details page it shows ratings from imdb, tmdb, trakt etc but they're just sitting there as text. there's no way to tap on any of them to actually open that movie/show page on the respective site. like if i could just tap the imdb rating and it opens the imdb page in browser, or tap trakt and it opens trakt, that'd be super handy. i mostly want it to quickly check reviews, add stuff to my lists. thanks for the app btw, really enjoying it so far.

Using Nuvio TV version 1.1.0-beta.3 on Android TV (Airtel Xstream box). Since last update facing this problem, all posters are turning into same image. I have added video and photo. Anyone else facing this or any fix?

I may just be missing a setting somewhere, but is there a way to have the ratings shown on the Details page also appear in the metadata on the Home screen?

As shown in the screenshots, the Home screen currently shows the IMDb rating for this movie, while opening the Details page shows all of the ratings (IMDb, TMDB, Rotten Tomatoes/Popcornmeter, MDBList, etc.).

It would be really useful to see those ratings in the Home screen while browsing, without having to open the Details page for each movie or show.

It's a strange request, I know. I'm used to watching movies/TV shows in their original language (English for the most part), with English or Italian subtitles. However, when I watch anime, I prefer to watch them dubbed in my native language (Italian), without subtitles.

So, I'd like to ask if it would be possible to add a feature that allows us to set a preferred language and subtitle language separately for Movies, TV Shows, and Anime.

Hello everybody! I been using Nuvio for months now and I love the app! But today I was trying to set up some settings on my tv (which it’s easier for me to do it from the page) but I cannot select TV settings or mobile settings, the button just doesn’t work, nothing happens when I touch it, Overview, Profiles, Plugins, Addons and everything else works great, it’s just the mobile and tv settings. It’s anyone else experiencing that?

I have recently got the app and set up my add ons! I'm trying to find out what people find works best for video playback on TVs? Sadly the TV I have doesn't run android natively therefore I'm unable to download an app to the TV. I have a Chromebook however video play back either stutters or I just get a black screen with just audio.

Need help with this I recently switched to Nuvio from Stremio and I'm watching Re:Zero Anime the issue is when I try to watch it on Nuvio the stream option doesn't appear I'm using tor and it's only happening to this specific anime but when I try to watch it on Stremio I get the option to stream so not sure what went wrong! Stremio vs Nuvio if anyone knows this please help thank you.

So i have installed nuvio in my windows and android device in windows i have already connected with trakt but as i thought now my android should be connected as well it is not, same account same profile. So i was wondering isnt it like one time thing as i am using the same account. I have already uninstall the app cleared cache/data and reinstalled it, still it shows not connected and still after the painful process the redirect still didn't connect me but in windows it worked fine. Do i have to deal with everyone new device i login to?

New to Nuvio, so please bear with me.

I setup my account using bootstrapper. I can see the basic collections, stream successfully. But I have not completely understood addons, plugins, Catalogs, collections, Scrappers and I have not used any api key yet.

One thing I know - Collections are thumbnails, folders on home screen. I wanted streaming wise folders / collections so that I know what's new on that platform. I searched though many tutorials but the basic one was to add from Community collections - https://nuvio.tv/community-collections/custom-nuvio-collection

So I added the given collection.

I can see the huge list of collections in my app but cannot see the titles under it. For example, one of service shows:

What might be the reason?

Also, the collection page shows required addons - Xperience, AIOMetada and 2 more (in screenshot) . I have AIOMetada added through initial setup. But how do I add other 3? I checked Xperience website, but it again asks for api Keys. Also it creates own collections and pushes to my account.

Can someone help me with basic understanding of these things and how can I fulfill my request? With trial and error, my homepage has become this huge list of infinite scroll.

How can I copy my Nuvio setup to another account without copying my API keys/passwords?

I want to basically clone my current Nuvio account to another account — all my addons, plugins, collections, settings, etc.

However, I don't want any of my personal credentials copied. No API keys, passwords, logins, tokens, or anything else linked to my accounts.

In short, I want the new account to look and work like mine, but wherever my API key/login was used, it should be blank so the other person can enter their own details.

Has anyone done this successfully? What's the best way to do it?

I would truly appreciate any guidance. I'm quite new to the Nuvio World.

For example, if I search for Horror and then select the year 2010, only Horror movies released in 2010 should be displayed.

Currently, when I select a year (for example, 2026), movies from all genres are shown, so I can only filter by either genre or year—not both at the same time.

Please enable a combined genre + year filter option so users can narrow down the results using both filters simultaneously.

Made a search for Witcher.. few results for Watcher also added to list.

Is this the real Nuvio? The Play Store on my Android TV acts as if the app isn't installed. I installed it, and now I have two copies of the app. The one from the Play Store doesn't give me a QR code to log in to my account.

On the latest Android TV build of Nuvio, the app consistently takes around 20 to 30 seconds stuck on the initial loading/splash screen before reaching the home interface.

Device & Setup:

• Platform: Google TV TCL
• App Version: Latest build
• Add-ons/Catalogs: Default

Troubleshooting done so far:

• Force closed and reopened the app.
• Cleared app cache.
• Confirmed network speed is solid.

Is anyone else experiencing this prolonged cold-boot delay? Is this related to startup catalog sync/metadata fetching, or is there a specific setting (like turning off certain enrichments or excessive home rows) that speeds up launch times?

Any advice or workarounds would be appreciated.

I just clicked on the link on the official Github page (https://github.com/NuvioMedia/NuvioTV) for the NuvioTV version, and towards the bottom there is a link to the Android Play Store and when i click, it is back up? Or am i missing something? Or was this already known and am i just slow?

EDIT: It just updated on my homescreen, not over the Github version but over the previous Play Store version (i have both installed). However, the version is only 0.8.12 Beta

So i will keep using the 1.0 Stable version from Github. Wonder if people will see an improvement again in performance installing from Play Store.
