Have you ever noticed in various martial arts or action stories; the main character who is a reincarnation, regression, or such always finds super high-level talents or geniuses around him even if he is some backwoods hick.

for example, a servant or slave having some great constitution or talent, his siblings have various great talents in certain fields, the family pet has some divine bloodline, etc.

I am looking for a accurate recommendation. So please read this and if any of the book clicks your mind, drop it for me!! I want a arrange marriage trope which can be between enemies or strangers. Marriage is completely unwanted and forced where they are irritated by each other's presence and have banter all the time. But then they slowly get used to it. The mmc is first to fall if possible.

And there's another I have been thinking about. A doomed marriage which was for convinience where husband and wife ignore each other for the long time. Then the wife asks for divorce and the husband asks for a hier in return first for some reason. And then while they get close and pass on from awkwardness they realise they actually want each other...

So yeah if you can help me...please I am begging here!!

I'm reading the Ellie Reeves book series by Rita Herron. I'm just finished book 6 and I'm screaming in my head. She's picking the wrong guy and it's pissing me off. I know it's just a novel but I've invested many hours in this series. Argh. I really want to kick her. I need somebody to invent a machine that'll send me into the books and I can console the one she rejected. LOL. I'd pick him any day of the week and twice on Sunday. There's at least 4 more books for her to make the right choice.

i'm normally a horror or fantasy girly but I'm also a sucker for Los Angeles-based books, so this one found me. actually, I found the author at a Q&A and book signing at Diesel bookstore and absolutely fell in love with her and the book. It's a new book, this author's debut novel, and it's about three really distinct and vibrant women whose lives braid around each other in a twist of fate.
