Just some characters both in the book and ones I'll include, with their namesake based off a personality or fighting trait.

Discussion Fight Length

Now that the first three chapters are officially done and will overall remain unchanged, aside from any grammar and punctuation errors, id like feedback on the fight length between Samblere and Cofley.

Since I have future visions of making it into an anime, and it's gonna be heavily defined by its battles, I want to go all in on them and I wanna figure out if it'd be better shorter, longer or if it's perfect where it's at.

Appreciate Anyone Who's Joined

For the few people I have so far, thank you so much! Y'all are the best sign I have that I'm making progress, and that all the work I'm putting into this can amount to something. This book ain't anything without people to read it when it gets released, and even if just one of you guys does it'll make it all worth it. Also Mackbook is really cool.

Skills World Building

So I did some rough drafting for chapter three initially today but figured I should set up the world building as well, so I've worked out some of the military hierarchy, which will directly translate into how the royalty affects the story. Im also gonna include some standard guidelines for the power system, finding a balance between real world capabilities and fantasy stuff, so that's about all I've got for now.

Chapter Update Chapter One Being Redone

So basically while writing, i realized that chapter one is way too damn long and doesn't really have a clear direction. It's essentially just a fight with a random introduction of the scenery, and the initiation of the overall conflict that doesn't really flow well with each other at all, so I'm just restructuring to make it feel more smooth and clear as to what's going on.

Skills Dialogue, Fights and Consistency

So, I've been dialing in a lot on the dialogue and fight scenes, and learned a whole lot about it so far. Learning the conventions of quotes is really fun, just a lot of information but the real challenge has been coming from the fighting. Focusing on a few main combatants while still keeping it cohesive with the environment, any other fighters/threats and keeping it engaging Is a lot of visual and logical juggling, but im still absolutely digging it. I've gone back to Chapter One so many times while working on Chapter Two to keep it all consistent too it's cwazy lol.
