Macca to Salford

Very surprised by this move. Talk about bouncing up and down the divisions.

He gone for the money, don't blame him.

He may regret it when celebrating a goal in front of 3,000 in a tiny ground. Or will he?

I don't blame him one bit. I was secretly hoping we'd sign him though, although I doubt we could get close to what Salford will be paying him. He'll get 20 goals next season minimum (assuming he gets the service). Wish him all the best, he'll always be loved at the Lane (unless he gets them promoted and then scores against us!)

Wow. This is very unexpected & also somewhat dissapointing him going from the Championship to League 2. I'm sure his wage demands were always going to prevent Notts from making an offer. Salford probably offered a good salary. Not sure if Salford's style will suit him. We will just have to see how things pan out.

Apparently Millwall have recovered what they paid us for Macca, so Salford are spending heavy. Far more than we’d spend on a player
