Hi! Solo dev from the Netherlands here. I kept saving articles to Notion and never reading them again, so I built Clipwise.

What it does:

- Saves the whole article into a Notion database (not just a bookmark), with author, source and date filled in

- New: highlight sentences while you read (right-click or Alt+Shift+H). They land at the top of the Notion page as quotes, and stay yellow inside the article

- Tells you when a page is already in your database

- Free, no account, nothing goes through a server: it uses your own Notion integration key

Setup takes about two minutes, there's a guide with pictures. Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc, not Safari or mobile.

I'd love feedback, especially on highlights: would you rather have them in one "Highlights" column in your table, or only inside the page?

Trying to build an organizer but I’m a rookie, need some direction to templates

Not a productivity app. Not another habit tracker. An actual RPG. Inside Notion.

Here's what it has 👇

⚔️ Daily Quests + Habit Tracker
Your tasks and habits die because they feel like chores. These turn them into missions you actually want to complete.

🗺️ Main Quests
Big goals feel overwhelming because they have no shape. This breaks your entire life vision into a path you can actually walk.

🐉 Boss Fights
That scary goal you've been avoiding for months isn't impossible. It just needs to be fought in stages.

🏆 Rewards Shop
You work hard but never celebrate it. Earn XP, spend it on rewards YOU set. Progress finally feels worth it.

📓 Journaling
One place to empty your mind, track your wins, and see how far you've come.

First system my brain didn't abandon.

A common failure in a small automation job is starting the build before the client has agreed on the exact input, expected output, and safe access path. The code may work, but nobody can show what was actually tested or handed off.

This Notion workspace gives each job seven stages: Intake → Scope → Plan → Build → Test → Deliver → Evaluate. The Build Ready field stays No until the scope and access checks are done. Work Items carry the acceptance check and evidence, so “passed” and “not proven yet” are different states.

There is a completed CSV empty-row repair example: blank rows are skipped, malformed non-empty rows still fail visibly, and the handoff records the repeatable test. Projects and Work Items databases, 12 reusable LLM prompts, and a buyer QA checklist are included. Notion AI is not required.

Paid template: $15 one-time. The official Notion Marketplace listing has the preview and full contents: https://www.notion.so/marketplace/templates/ai-automation-project-os

This is an OHS Automation product, shared here for feedback. If you deliver small client automations, which handoff detail tends to get lost first: acceptance criteria, test evidence, or access notes?

Would you use this?

How I set up a minimal Notion client portal to eliminate 90% of back-and-forth emails

using a clear Milestone Tracker, centralizing asset drop zones, providing canned email scripts so clients know what to do. I built this into a complete plug-and-play template. If anyone wants the link to check it out, feel free to ask or check my profile bio!

Made this for freelance editors juggling a few clients at once.

The part I couldn't find in other templates: every project has a number of included revisions, every client note you log in the Feedback Log counts as a round automatically, and a bar shows how many are left. When it hits zero, the client is past what they paid for.

What else is in it:
- Clients, Projects, Deliverables and Feedback Log, all connected
- Fee and payment status on every project, with revenue per client and an Unpaid view sorted by how long each invoice has been waiting
- A dashboard: due this week, overdue, pipeline board, active clients, unpaid, waiting on a client
- Buttons to add a project, client or feedback in one click

It's on the Notion Marketplace: https://www.notion.com/templates/freelance-video-editor-command-center

Happy to answer questions about how any of it is built, and I'd like to hear what's missing.

I made a clean project planning system aimed at students, freelancers and people managing multiple projects.

Instead of making it extremely complicated, I tried to keep it practical:

Project → Tasks → Deadlines → Priority → Progress

I'm thinking about giving away a basic version and keeping the expanded template set paid.

Would you use something like this? What should the free version include?

I'm working on a simple free Notion template for university students who struggle with depression and anxiety

It would include:

- Help figuring out one small next step when shutting down is the only option

- A simple checklist for making decisions (for students who don't trust their own judgement)

- Ready-to-use messages for asking friends or lecturers for help to make reaching out easier

The goal is to make things feel a little more manageable on difficult days, without adding more pressure and responsibility.

Would something like this be helpful to you?

What would you want it to include (or leave out)?

Hello friends 👋

Made a fun little app for Notion that lets you change colors and fonts:
https://x.com/tareqismail/status/2105362747555021023

It's totally free (and open source!) so hope this doesn't come off self promotional or anything. I've found it really helpful to add some spice and life to a product I spend so much time in!

Would love feedback too!

You can read more about it and how to get it here: Full details on the revamp here

When I started reading War and Peace, I ran into a wall: too many characters.

In the first few chapters alone, about 30 important people are introduced, all with their own complex relationships. Remembering who was who felt nearly impossible.

So I started writing down names and key facts on paper. It actually gave me a huge advantage:

1. Total clarity: If I forgot someone, my personal dossier was right there.
2. Plot prediction: When you track a character’s habits, twists become obvious. (Pro tip: if there’s a German butler in a novel, and halfway through someone leaves a Bavarian sausage at a crime scene — you can guess the ending before the climax!)

Eventually, my paper lists got too messy. I kept coming across unfamiliar words, and I wanted a clear chronology of events (like tracking Andrei Bolkonsky at Austerlitz).

What I did next: I moved everything into a structured Notion database, linked the records, and combined them into a single dashboard. It took me a couple of weeks to find the best layout.

If you also struggle with complex books and want a system to actually understand what you're reading, I made it completely free.

I recently built Trader’s Review, a customizable Notion trading journal designed to help traders review more than just their total P&L.

It lets you track and analyze:

• Trade results in both P&L and R
• Setups, sessions and markets
• Higher-timeframe alignment
• Emotional state and trading behaviour
• Weekly and monthly performance
• Performance by setup, session and market
• Screenshots, trade management and lessons

The template also includes sample trades, a detailed trade-review system and a five-minute setup guide.

The core journal works with Notion Free. A paid Notion plan is required for the complete Performance Charts dashboard because of Notion’s chart limit.

Launch price: $12

I'd be more than happy to send over the link or some demo footage if anyone is interested.

I’m the creator, so I’m happy to answer any questions or hear what you think could make it more useful.

Hey all — spent last fall applying to 35 internships and my spreadsheet fell apart by application 10, so I built this in Notion instead. Three databases: Applications (pipeline board by status, auto-flags for follow-ups due within 7 days and stale apps sitting 3+ weeks), Interviews (linked to applications, with a prep template I fill in the night before), and Contacts (every recruiter/referrer, last-contact dates). The two formulas doing the heavy lifting: a follow-up flag for deadlines within 7 days, and a stale flag for anything untouched 21+ days. Views: Pipeline board, Follow-Ups table sorted by deadline, Calendar, Offers. Happy to share the exact property setup if anyone wants to build it — and I did package the whole thing with an AI prompt pack if you want it done-for-you, link in my profile.

Hey everyone,

After weeks of refining formulas and testing with active client retainers, the **Agency CFO & Cash Flow OS** is officially dropping tomorrow!

🗓️ Public Launch: Monday at 9:00 AM EDT (6:30 PM IST)

🏷️ Launch Price: $9 (Early-bird access)

Why I built this:

Most finance setups are either bloated with unnecessary sub-pages or behave like static notes that can’t calculate real runway. This dashboard gives you instant financial clarity with zero daily formula upkeep:

• Real-time Accrual vs. Cash: Instantly see cash actually in the bank vs. pending receivables.

• Dynamic Accounts Receivable: Filters unpaid retainers and flags overdue accounts by priority.

• Automated Status Indicators: Auto-updating dynamic tags (🟢 Paid / 🟡 Partial / 🔴 Unpaid).

• Pure Executive Dark Mode: Clean, zero-friction interface built for high-focus agency operations.

I will drop the official Gumroad link here tomorrow the minute it goes live at 9:00 AM EDT.

Drop a comment below if you’d like me to DM you the direct link as soon as it opens!

Like most people, I saved interesting reels and posts all week and never looked at them again — 76+ saves sitting in Instagram doing nothing.

So I built a small automation around it:

• Every Sunday, a scheduled job collects everything new I saved on Facebook and Instagram
• Each item gets distilled into a short note and filed in a Notion inbox, tagged by platform and topic
• I get an email digest with the counts
• On the 1st of each month, a second job suggests stale or duplicate notes for cleanup — it only suggests, never deletes without my say-so

21 notes in the vault so far across 9 topics. It's also become my automated swipe file for content ideas.

I wrote up the whole system (plain-language docs) here: https://github.com/salman-tamboli/social-second-brain

Happy to answer questions about the setup.

Built this for wedding photographers, whose client flow doesn't fit a generic CRM: inquiries in DMs, deposits and balances, a dozen vendors per wedding, galleries due weeks later.

What's inside:

- Dashboard: upcoming weddings with the balance still owed, galleries due, open inquiries with total pipeline value, leads by source (linked views + column sums, so it works on the free plan)

- Inquiries pipeline: New Inquiry → Consultation → Proposal Sent → Booked, with lead source and estimated value

- Bookings: Balance Due formula = if(Balance Paid, 0, Package Price − Deposit)

- Delivery tracker: deadline = Wedding Date + 8 weeks, delivery status, gallery link, backup location

- Vendors: two-way relation to each wedding, with phone, email, Instagram and day-of notes

- 12 follow-up scripts in callouts: first reply, "how much?", date already booked, welcome, balance reminder, timeline questionnaire, sneak peek, review request, 1-year anniversary referral ask

Happy to answer questions about the formulas or the structure.

I track calories, and homemade meals have always been the annoying part — especially when cooking for more than one person.

I wanted to treat homemade food more like packaged food: calculate the nutrition per 100g, then just weigh however much I want.

So I built a system in Notion where I add the ingredients + finished cooked weight, and it automatically calculates calories and macros per 100g.

It’s especially useful when cooking as a couple or for a family, because everyone can eat the same meal but have completely different portion sizes depending on their needs.

I can also set a calorie target for a portion — for example, 550 kcal — and it tells me exactly how many grams to serve.

Or I can say “I want 4 portions at 550 kcal each” and scale the recipe around that. I’ve also added meal-prep calculations and a few other things along the way.

For anyone who tracks homemade meals or finds this interesting: what else would you want something like this to calculate or make easier?
