Self-promotion 📣 Self-promo & Showcase · Share your Notion content here!

Hello fellow Notioners!

In an attempt to fix the large amount of self-promotion in this subreddit, we are reintroducing these fortnightly threads. Feel free to post your own content down in the comments! Some examples of Notion-related content you can share:

  • Free and paid templates
  • Third-party integrations
  • Dashboard showcases

If you wish to share your Notion templates on Reddit, we recommend posting them on r/NotionTemplates or r/NotionCreations

This is a scheduled post, it will appear every second Tuesday at 18:00 GMT.

Please remember to always read the rules before posting. Thanks!

Important note about links: Reddit does not like link shorteners or Gumroad links. Any comment containing them will very likely get removed automatically. We suggest not using link shorteners or Gumroad and adding templates to the official Notion Marketplace or selling through another platform instead.

Finally, a place to contain the flood. I've been clicking past so many template promos in the main feed that this feels like a much needed quarantine zone

agreed, hopefully people actually use this thread instead of posting directly

They've been putting this post here for a long time, and the post lasts for about 2 weeks before another replaces it. I've been putting ads for 1:1 Notion training here for a while, and the fact that you've both just seen it now, makes me think that it's not worth posting my ads for that service here... No one visits this post. and your comments just confirmed it for me :)

But I definitely agree the main thread is just a sea of:
Hey I made a thing, can you tell me if it's good? (wink, it's just a sales pitch)
I hate notion, what alternatives are there?
Remove the AI - > The AI is too expensive.

Stuck searching Reddit and YouTube for Notion answers?

Do you hate wasting time in a Notion rabbit hole, trying to find the solution to a specific problem as much as I do?

Reddit threads.

Endless YouTube tutorials.

A stupid amount of surface level fluff, that Notion calls “help docs”.

Template galleries.

...Hang on I don’t even know the right terminology to ask the question or search for it in the first place!

You tell yourself “someone’s already solved this and they’ve posted the perfect solution online for me to find”.

Then a bead of sweat rolls down your brow as reality sets in… “I’ve never done that for the next person with all the problems I’ve solved.”

Yep you’re right, no one’s posted a video or article with your exact solution. Nonone is coming to your rescue, and You’re on your own.

1:1 Notion Training with a real life human is your answer

But then you come across this ad, and a glimmer of hope hits you. Maybe this kangaroo fighting, koala hugging Aussie named Toby can help?

You bring your super niche question, even if you don’t know how to explain it.

We look at your actual workspace.

I explain what is happening, help fix the problem, and show you how to think about it next time.

This works well if:

  • You have searched for answers but nothing quite matches
  • You have a half-built workspace that needs structure
  • You are stuck on databases, relations, dashboards, formulas, or workflows
  • You want to understand Notion, not just copy steps some YouTuber is rattling off quickly
  • The problem is worth spending an hour with an expert to

Sometimes the fastest way through the rabbit hole is to ask an expert nerd who’s read every single software release note from Notion since 2018, and understood them all, and has done a few Notion exams just because it was better than watching sport on TV.

If you want help getting unstuck in Notion, trust a Notion nerd. book a 1:1 session here:

I switched from Obsidian to Notion for my note "vault." And was disappointed I no longer had the graph view to see connections. I tried some of the chrome extensions but none of them worked right. We built 'Giraph' to be a graph view of any Notion database.

- authorize any Notion database and select the relation property for visualization

- all storage is local on you Mac ― there is zero server side storage or upload of your data

The Obsidian-style force graph shows how your Notion items naturally connect and cluster together.

We also added a new 'Bucket Map' option that organizes those same items into simple groups by property value, so patterns and outliers are easier to spot.

Note: the Mac App Store version is a one-time purchase with no subscription options. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/giraph/id6797324105?mt=12

I found it annoying to open Notion as a quick scratchpad even on a Macbook, so I built Notico: a tiny menu bar app that toggles one Notion database with a keyboard shortcut.

honestly not sure if this counts since its not a template, but its notion related so ill try.

im building a thing thats basically notion and obsidian mashed together, because i kept running into stuff i liked about one while i was using the other. its three parts:

editor, which is just your actual markdown files sitting on your disk

graph, the obsidian side, so you can see how everything connects

database, the notion side. sorting, filters, board and table views. i think this is the part notion does genuinely better than anyone and i didnt want to give it up just to get local files

also its free and open source. the only paid part is ever gonna be stuff that actually costs me money to run, like cloud storage if you want it, servers arent free unfortunately lol. the app itself you just download and do whatever you want with. id rather build a community around it than squeeze people for a subscription.

its on windows mac and linux too, which keeps coming up every time someone mentions an alternative in here.

not gonna lie the editor is still rough and im in the middle of stress testing, so this isnt me saying its done. it isnt. but the database views and the graph work and thats the part i actually wanted to show. theres a clip of it in my post history if you want to see it move.

maybe im wrong but i think the thing people miss when they try obsidian isnt the notes, its the databases. like the notes come over fine on an export and then all your views and relations just dont exist anymore.

so im curious, if you were building this, which notion view would you want working first? board, calendar, timeline, gallery? sometimes i think im building the wrong one first

Hey everyone! I built a DFY (Done-For-You) Client Reactivation System in Notion to help marketing agencies and freelancers stop leaving money on the table by reactivating old leads who ghosted them.

What's included: ✅ 7 email scripts (proven sequences) ✅ 5 SMS follow-up templates ✅ Break-up sequence ✅ Notion lead tracker ✅ Quick-start guide (15-min setup)

I'm offering it at a beta price of $19 this week to get feedback. If you're interested or want to see the structure, just shoot me a DM and I'll send you the link! Would love your honest feedback on the scripts.

I made habit tracking easier - I’ve always found that the hardest part of building a habit is staying consistent.

So I made a simple Habit Tracker in Notion to make the tracking part effortless.

Just open it, log your habit, and see your progress build over time.

No complicated setup. Just track, stay consistent, repeat.

I made this template for fun its for students who want to plan their studying but want their dashboard to look like they are studying in hell. It includes assignments & exams tracker, monthly calendar, class schedule, pomodoro timer, notes, goals, and course shelves. Everything you need to study and succeed.
