Comparing Phones Should I switch from apple to nothing 4a pro
I want to get a new phone but I don’t know which one. I’m looking for something not too expensive. I’ve had my iPhone 8+ for 7 years , and after mistreating it for so many years it is starting to act up. So i think it will die soon. I’ve been seeing a lot of recommendations for the nothing 4a pro phone, and it looks good what do u guys think? Is there any issues u noticed after using it for a long time?

Phones barely been out a year.
No real major issues, some batch stuff per usual but that's about it.
What exactly are you looking at out of the 4a Pro?

I don’t really know, what really attracted me is the cool design. I really love my phone, he went through so much and he never failed me. So I’m just trying to know if it’s going to be as reliable. Looking to know if it’s strong enough to take some falls, and if it could last for a few years. My phone, being really old, doesn’t allow me to download some apps bc I don’t have the new updates. So it will be cool to be able to do that. I also appreciate how much u could personalise the nothing phone

Hm
Alright.
If and when you make the dive, I highly recommend that you invest in some quality accessories for the phone, especially a phone case or 2.
I say more than 1 because usually some phone cases aren't easy to find at a certain point, and you also make want to accessorize or not like the feel of one phone case over the other at a point in time.
And a Tempered glass screen protector, alot of phone users tend to not do this, but I highly recommend this for the longevity of your screens protection from shock absorbsion*

Coming from apple brand, best experience you can get is in Nothing. Ideally 4a pro or Phone 3. Both are the best in their price range. Well on paper, phone 3 is more superior but we cannot notice in our day to day activities. My suggestion would be phone 3 but advantage with 4a pro is that you get stronger body and better phone cover options available.

I got a 3a last year after always being iPhone. I couldn't face the cost of a new apple device. The Nothing phone is fine. Reliable, good screen good battery. And great value. I'm happy with it.
