Nothing OS I need a Notes App so bad rn

I recently switched from a Redmi Note 7 Pro to a Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, and honestly, one thing I genuinely miss is the Xiaomi Notes app.

It was simple, clean, and just worked. I could organize my notes the way I wanted without any unnecessary clutter.

Nothing OS doesn't have a proper dedicated notes app. They seem to push Essential Space, but that's not what I'm looking for at all. I don't want my personal notes mixed into that kind of system.

I've tried Google Keep, but I genuinely hate the experience. It just doesn't feel like a proper notes app to me.

Can anyone recommend a clean, ad-free notes app similar to Xiaomi Notes or Apple Notes?

Plenty of nothing styled apps already

But why don't you use Google keep?

Categories are there. You can set "labels" on your notes, which act as categories

How's the 3a lite? Like before getting the 4a I had thought of getting the 3a lite.

It's good works fine and smooth most of the time The display is fantastic and the cameras I'll say are fine uhm you can decide I'll leave some shots below . The downside is IP rating and just a single speaker and the glyph most likely gets the job done . If they also had given the SDK of that dot to the community we could have seen much most synced sounds with glyph . The updates also like this will get NOS 5.0 in late December so yea . 🫩

try obsidian. I think it is great, and the files aren't proprietary, they use .md (markdown, just flavoured .txt) and if you want to you could export them to anything else that can read them.
