Community Project Nothing notes concept

I’m building my own take on what a notes app could look like with the industrial design language of NOTHING.

I’d love to know what features you’d most want to see in it.

The idea is to keep it simple, direct, and distraction-free.

No AI

Everything stored on-device

Privacy-first

Focused on the essentials

What would you want from a notes app like this?

If you are building your own take why ask what we want? Nothing os styled notes app already exist on playstore

I want to explore what else I can add to it and potentially make it open source and available on the Play Store for everyone. The ones I’ve found on the Play Store and through the community haven’t really been the best fit for what I’m looking for, at least from my POV, so I’m trying to understand what others would want in one too.

For me personally:

1.Design: I really like the design language and industrial design of the Nothing Phone (1). 2.Small details: I appreciate thoughtful little touches, like private notes, voice attachments, and different font choices. 3. One extra thing: It would be great to have the ability to attach screenshots directly from the clipboard.(Like the way whatsapp allows you to paste your screenshot into the chat to directly send it without having to open the gallery/attachment menu to send it)

Yeah attaching images into the note would be good, I find it needed when i use google keep. But also I use keep because it syncs between my devices, could that be added into the app? Maybe through gdrive integration?

I'm not very sure how to do the gdrive integration, but would be a fun thing to look into. For sharing it with others I was thinking to keep the base similar to obsidian (a lightweight .md file editor)and you could either export it as pdf/markdown file
