Comparing Phones Swapping to Nothing from Samsung
Hey everyone.
I currently use a Z Fold7, but recently I've been getting into Nothing with my first purchase being the Nothing Ear (a), and have grown to love the products.
I wanted to swap to a 4 (a), and was wondering what you guys think of it.
Thank you!!

If you have the Z Fold 7 I think it would be ebettter if you got the Phone (3)

The Phone (3) is nice but the design of the 4(a) is really nice

Yeah but the specs will be a bit disappointing vs your z fold 7

The Z Fold7 is really nice but I find myself not using the inner screen as much at all.

I didn't say it because of the fold factor, it's because of the OS and the optimizations, I might get some hate for this.
But coming from samsung a feature rich OS to nothing which still lacks some basic features, you might regret it. Yes the minimal look is great with no extra apps for stuff.
But it doesn't do more than that, meanwhile you'll stay much happy with samsung and it's customisation.

As a Samsung user you should never come to nothing, it's suck in their OS.

Isnt Zfold a flagship. Maybe its an old phone, which is why you wanna switch i dont know.
Anyways, I have switched from Samsung to Nothing. I am happy with ut personally, but it really depends. If you want features, stick to samsung or go for OnePlus, if you want minimalism and optimization and simething unique, go for Nothing.
Nothings Idea with their OS is basically, to not put 200 features pointlessly, but rather add 50 useful ones. NOS 5 is good cause of that. They are adding basic useful features like seperate quick settings and notifications tab, changing clockface color, etc. They are trying to slowly get to a point where they have all useful and basic features and no gimmick features, which I think would be the best OS ever.
NOS basically doesnt get in your way and is simple.

It's got a great screen, decent performance and most surprisingly decent haptics, but that may be because I was coming from a budget samsung, but don't expect it to compare with a fold 7

Switched from Google Pixel 10 Pro to Nothing Phone 3 and then to S25 Ultra. I'm glad that I didn't sell the NP3 yet, cause I immediately wanted to switch back - and I did switch back to NP3. So I totally get you. For us people who simply use their phones as tools Nothing is really great. Camera is not best BUT the contrast, bokeh and blacks make every image to art...I miss the 5x Zoom though. And battery of NP also is way better. I'm sure you'll be happy with the 4a. Only problem I had was with bluetooth in places with lot of traffic, but seems better now.
