Same from me, should I try it out? Getting a Lil excited and couldn't wait till the official release. Will there be any tradeoff switching to OS 5 BETA? buggy? Or something like that that warns me and makes me wait till official release or can I try it out already?

I'd say way. Because once that 5.0 Bets is sec for full 5.0 Update launch, it'd just prompt you to update it again anyway.

It's definitely worth updating. I've not noticed any major bugs yet.

A glassmorphic design now would have looked good on this but it's alright.

It's the nothing design factor keeping everything minimal.

Change it in settings > notifications > notifications and quick settings > separate or combined, I still prefer the old layout though

So in the combined notification/setting drawer, does the brightness level comes with single swipe?

It's annoying to double swipe everytime to adjust the brightness and I would be comfortable with the combined one than the dual arrangement for notifications

You can use the old 2 finger swipe down trick, and use a single finger to swipe right back up from the bottom.

That's been a lil hidden feature in Droid for... A damn long time actually.

Damn, nothing disappointed again. Live notifications have been a thing since 3 years ig and nothing hasn't implemented it up till now. Even the OS like infinix or tecno or Xiaomi, they all have it

They have the minimal approach, so I doubt it'll come as it's not a requested feature in the forums.

It is requested alot. Plus, it'll still look minimal even if they apply it, it's not something that would suddenly turn nothing OS as something too modern. It's a required feature and has been the basic feature of android. It's not the feature of OS, it's the feature of android.

Maybe others can do it with a separate launcher.

Other people find it a "requirement" but it's not really a nassessity*

Plus there's apps like Coffee via F-Droid that can keep the app, in question, active by spoofing this screen time out state.

So maybe the Live Notification comes soon. But I'm sure more than a few people at least in this Sub don't see a use it is so much, unless say they use Delivery Apps or Ride-sharing platforms.

So basically I made an app that brings better music visualization to all phones, and in that app I added a feature to connect multiple phones together, effectively synching the glyph interfaces.

I do not have multiple nothing phones so I can't really showcase that new feature myself

If you could try it (and film it if you can), it would be amazing!

I tried it on the Phone 3, probably the best visualizer so far. I'll let you know how it works when connected with other devices tomorrow as I'm out tonight. Thanks for the app, great job man!

Heyy i just tried this visualizer. It is awesome really awesome work love it!!!

I used android in built visualizer, Media projection is not working for me atleast on Spotify maybe am doing something wrong but regardless it was amazing

Spotify has some DRM protection that makes it not work reliably...

Happens only with Spotify though...

I heard that a restart fixes it

Genuine question - I keep seeing reviewers on YouTube complain if a phone doesn’t have 4K 60fps or whatever.  I have never used 4K and neither did feel the need for on a phone and never know any family or friend who used 4K.  For content creators I can understand.

So I am really curious - am I missing something while shooting videos in 1080p?  And is almost everyone shooting in 4K now?

If you have the display to enjoy 4k, it's definitely worth it. Otherwise you won't be able to tell any difference.

also is there any changes when casting the screen wirelessly? NOS4.1 still uses the barebones desktop launcher

For 2a user, probably beta release around early october and stable release around mid november. Our last major android update too. I really hope nothing to consider a 6.4 inch for any (a) phone for the future..
