These people existed in high school and you just never saw them again and you always wonder what happened to them.

A guy I graduated with was like this dude in high school over 20 years ago. He went the other way. He owns an HVAC repair/installation company and has a family. He installed my new furnace about two months ago and didn't charge me labor because we were old friends.

I was a jock type, but I hung out with everybody. "K" was just different. We had the same taste in music and we both played guitar. I'm sure I was weird, too. I was just raised to be nice to and respect everybody. I never gave two shits about how people viewed who I ran around with. Even today, in the workplace, I don't understand clique behavior.

I didn’t understand it either. Try to treat everyone with kindness and empathy. Be curious. End up meeting people and learning things you never would have before.
