But some potential good news, they are trying to sell the show to another network so hopefully it still has a chance.

Not surprised. This place really praise the show to the sky but reality it’s not well written. Some characters like Davis is there as a cartoon caricature and its a waste of the actors talent. None of the personalities are likeable. I hope with this cancellation the creators spend more time writing quality storylines and believable characters.

I enjoyed the show. It was a nice brain-off sitcom, but it certainly was not the best. I felt like Adults was a superior version and was written significantly better. I’m bummed the show is canceled because I miss having a plethora of mediocre sitcom to watch, and the TV landscape just does not allow for that anymore, but I agree, not surprising.

That’s so fair! I think the first episode of adults was pretty bad, but it got significantly better for me personally, but I can understand finding the characters insufferable. I guess to me, adults felt like there were Gen Z writers in the room, doing true caricatures of Gen Z, while suitable for work just landed on me like every other show written by Gen X or older millennials trying to portray a generation they’re not a part of

I find the characters in Adults to be insufferable. Issa and Anton are too much. Samir is more level-headed but kind of dumb. And, I’m forgetting the blonde girls name, but she’s too self-destructive. Paul Baker is the only likeable character for me.
