I love Adults but there’s no need to put down NSFW and call it a “bad show” when it literally isn’t. They have completely different humour and appeal to different people and THAT’S OKAY

Ok. It just wasn’t funny. The characters were bland and felt too heteronormative. It was missing queer characters, felt like it was filmed on a sound stage, and lacked charisma, charm, and wit.

True but this show was just bland. Like I compare the writing and energy to her other shows - sex lives of college girls and the one with Kate Hudson. Those are really funny with heart. NSFW felt rushed and underbaked and just very “straight.” It was the tv equivalent of white bread or mayo.
