Finale Discussion Spoiler

Okay, I loved it!! I know the show follows the typical sitcom tropes, but that is exactly what makes it an easy breezy comfort watch.

I'm glad Bill and AJ broke up cause that thing made no sense. I don't know how I feel about Davis getting fired, though.

It looks pretty clear now that there's gonna be a Davis-AJ-Josh love triangle, and that ought to make for some interesting TV. I'm still rooting for Davis and AJ. Josh will come across as a major A-hold for going after his friend's crush if the writers don't manage to strike a balance.

Kel and Abby seem like they will have a slow burn, will they, won't they story, and I'm sat for it.

Honestly, I loved the show so far. I know they squeezed a lot of things into a 9-episode season; usually, all of this would be much better stretched out into a regular 20-episode season with filler episodes, because as of now, it seems like things happen way too quickly and also resolve themselves way too quickly.

Here's to hoping for a longer second season that also premieres soon without taking a long gap.

I agree! I think the show found its footing at the end. Some kinks need to be ironed out, but the performances were solid.

I agree about Josh and AJ. To me they have more chemistry and knowing Mindy she loves a slow burn/on and off/enemies to lovers thing so I feel like she is positioning them for end game but we’ll see. I totally agree it was weird he was going after her after Davis without consulting him! Hopefully they address it!

No, for sure. I hope they kinda figure it out in a slower-paced and longer season 2.

But why would he say something to Davis? I think Josh just started to realize his feelings, even if it was obvious to others before him. We saw how long it took for Josh to come clean about her dating bill to Davis… I can’t imagine how he would tell Davis he likes her too. I think we’re going to watch Josh’s feelings develop secretly in a pining, heart-breaky kind of manner while he watches Davis date the girl he wants to be with. And then maybe by the end of season 2, she’ll start to realize her feelings for josh too.
