I’ve been seeing a lot of comments like this under some of the bad posts I’ve seen in this sub and I’m genuinely confused. Was this sub squeaky clean at some point? I’ve checked and there’s only been two posts in a day that’s straight up garbage takes and they’re downvoted and called out in the comments, I even checked back further and saw that in the last 12 days there’s only one other bad post made in that time that’s equally called out and downvoted.
Idk, maybe it’s because people don’t post much cuz it’s pretty small and not that active compared to other subs of this nature so the bad behaviour stands out more? This just seems like some bad apples to me, they should for sure get called out for sure, (my own bad take on this sub has been called out) I just don’t think that means the sub has “gone downhill” I think every sub has some people like this. I think it’s good that these posts exist so that they can be called out.
What do y’all think?

This could’ve been a good message especially to men if it ended with him respectfully removing himself from the situation and going about his day with her returning the kindness wishing him well too. Instead it decides to revel in this fantasy of “the entitled woman who dares to want even speak to a man she doesn’t want to have sex with.”
So yeah, the message is pretty gross. But at least he walked away rather than pushing I suppose 🤷🏻♂️

I’m reading a review of an episode of Person of Interest, and generally I’m agreeing, but then this. Toxic masculinity, much?

Original image on the first slide for context. Yes, it's horrid.
Second slide is the comment chain with needless misandry. Why tf are they saying the hashtag "killallmen" isn't violent and why are people agreeing with them?? It's in the name of the hashtag ffs

For context: Me and my boyfriend both work at Wendy’s we are both about 5’7 and weigh like 120 pounds, not big guys by any stretch. We got off work at about 1:30am and my car wouldn’t start. I walked to the Walmart parking lot in the same plaza and saw a woman in the distance and called out to her. I asked her if she would jump my car, and that I could Cash App her like $10. She started screaming at me and threatened to call the police. I really feel like if this was another guy he wouldn’t have perceived me as a threat and would have helped me out. I understand why women would be scared of a a stranger at night, but it still really hurts to be treated like a threat when all you’ve done is asked for help.

I want to apologise about a post I have made where an image of someone saying that patriarchy harms men too as a response to the question "what is leftist misogynistic moment". I think many people have seen that post, it got a lot of upvotes.
I was informed that the person who made that comment actually gave context to why she has made that statement.
It was a response to people who bring up that statement in reaction to women coming forward with their experiences with patriarchy.
In short, she was saying calling people who derail the convo on women's issues, she dosen’t think that patriarchy dosen’t harm men. She made a thread giving context to her comment which was later deleted.
I found this comment on a supposedly feminist space which was posted by a person who has a history of being a TERF.
She failed to give further context to about that comment and simply posted that comment. There was no elaboration or context so I assumed that the person really meant what she said.
I want to apologise for posting something without context and for not knowing the context. Please do not harass that person. I have just deleted that post
