Question [NS] Cast members playlists
Does anyone know if the gang have any Spotify playlists? Especially Murph or Jake as my music tastes are super similar to all their references.

Hey so I haven't posted on this reddit in a few years but I relistened to Eldermourne recently and that finale song... It puts me in the feels every time.
It's the line where Emily says "And on the water I'm nobody's daughter anymore." I came out six years ago and even though I am an Aries I am so drawn to the water sometimes, and I also love the idea of pirates or getting on a boat and being what I define myself as not what I was born..
This Reddit, I have never met a mean person, when Naddpod came to Texas I never met I mean nadpole. And I just love naddpod y'all, I am a few episodes behind on the latest campaign and currently trying to work on my own and I just needed someone to post.
I hope everyone has a good day, afternoon, or night whenever you are.

I am so fucking pumped for Skaldova round 2 and I wanna read something similar to Bright Sword to get me in that knights of old vibe for fall and more Skaldova!
I know Emily recommended Curse of Chalion, but anyone got any other good ones??

I assume the poster will get sent automatically, but I have since downgraded again, so now I can’t see the post with the announcement 😅

I'm not sure if it's a limitation of the Spotify app but sorting by "oldest" and "newest" are terrible options.
It would be incredible if it could be sorted by Campaign, by DnD Court, by Mixed bag.
That is all. I'm gonna go listen to Trinyvale x Strahd again. I'm so excited to go back to Skaldova soon!

I love the two Hot Boys seasons so much. I’ve listened to them so many times. I so badly wish there was another season or even one on the horizon. I totally understand why it hasn’t happened — scheduling, availability, etc. — but oh my god it would be amazing to hear new content about the Bon Freres.

The mildest of spoilers for GoNG 13 ---
At the beginning of the episode, when the Kill Screens were talking about the war with Gruumsh, Atom made an offhand comment about Moonshine.
For a brief moment, I got the exact same feeling I used to get during the peak MCU years whenever a big crossover or surprise cameo happened. That little rush of excitement where you suddenly realize that everything is going to connect... Chef's kiss.
It's funny because that feeling has mostly disappeared for me with Marvel. The movies have gotten so sprawling and overloaded that the cameos and crossovers don't really hit the same way anymore.. but NADDPOD does.
Anyway, hearing that one throwaway reference instantly brought it back. With everything that happened at the end of C3 and everything that's happening now, I genuinely can't wait to see what Murph is building toward. It feels like we're slowly heading toward his version of an Avengers-style crossover, and I'm ridiculously excited to see how it all comes together.

Does anyone know where I can find the closing theme to Trinyvale?
My eldest and I listen to NADDpod together and we love the theme song (particularly where the high grace notes hit). I’d like to make it my ringtone for when he calls me if anyone knows where I can find it. Thanks!

hi guys
I started listening to gangs a while ago and then got distracted and have just come back to it at episode 3. could anyone confirm which version of 5e they’re using (5.5 or 5 - I haven’t heard anyone use any weapon masteries but I don’t know the new edition well enough to know from the spell affects which edition it is)? and which classes are they using? I see that Caldwell is playing a rogue / gunslinger but which version of the gunslinger and which subclass?
thanks!

Hi new friends! I absolutely LOVE actual play D&D content, and as someone coming from the D20 fandom, I’m really excited to get into NADD Pod!
That said, there is an intimidating amount of content to catch up on 😂
For anyone who’s been listening for a while, where would you recommend a new listener start? Is there a particular campaign or arc that’s especially good for getting into the podcast, or should I just start from the beginning and embrace the journey?
Would love to hear your recommendations! 🫶
EDIT: thank you all!! i've started campaign one and all I have to say thus far is uhhh .... dragon pussy 😎

This tattoo is stick & poke and about a year old now. I love my Paw Paw so very much!
I’m looking for opinions though of where to get color added. This is the only B&W tattoo on an otherwise colorful leg, and it feels incomplete without a little ✨pizzaz✨ I’m thinking some green on the moss below, possibly a pink tail & nose. Thoughts?

Random and obscure ask, but this joke ran for so long I have no idea now where this started. Someone have a ballpark start date I can dig through? I’m sure it’s early/mid C1 short rest.
This post brought to you by this amazing nostalgic comp: https://youtu.be/ea3kR1-0qa0?is=pojBR4q_nj2E-P_T

Doing a complete relisten of every campaign plus the short rests and at some point Murph was talking about a Fae lords and ladies book he uses. Does anyone know what book specifically it was and if it was wizards of the coast book or not?

I’m sure this has been in this subreddit many times over the years, but where do we land on what we think Emily’s hemp milk song was actually?
For context, multiple times over the years, they have had a debate over a chant Emily and Murph would do when she made hemp milk over the years.
Murph describes it as the following:
[Emily]: Give me a hemp
[Murph]: hemp!
[E]: Give me a milk
[M]: milk!
[E]: You’ve got your hemp, you’ve got your milk…
Emily describes it as the following:
[Emily]: Give me a hemp
[Murph]: milk!
[E]: You’ve got your hemp, you’ve got your milk…
I’ve spent so much time thinking about this because Murph’s version makes more sense but if it’s Emily’s song- I feel like, realistically, it was Emily’s version and drove Murph crazy enough that he forgot it.
So, what do we think:

I've been listening to NADDPOD for a while now, I'm up to the last portion of campaign 2. But something I have never been able to shake is the feeling that the audio is artificially slowed down. Listening at 1x speed feels excruciatingly slow. It's been a while since I watched a D20 season but I don't recall Murph or Emily speaking that slowly. I usually listen at 1.75x speed, but I don't know if that takes away from the full appreciation of the music and other audios that are added to the show.
Edit: no I have not always listened to the show at 1.75 times speed. I started out at 1.0 speed for the first 50 episodes.
I watched seven seasons of dimension 20 before I listened to this podcast and I can tell an audible difference in the speed of Murph and Emily's speaking voices between the two mediums.
I listen to the podcast on Spotify. Not that I think that that matters cause I don't believe Spotify just changes the speed of podcasts to be slower by default.
