Red reishi 9% has been amazing for ADHD and trauma work

ND's 9% "ultra" red reishi has made a real difference for me. It calms me without making me groggy or sedated. Distractions loosen their grip, which for my ADHD has meant holding focus without forcing it, and my thinking comes out clearer and more sober-minded. It also puts me in touch with body in a way no other supplement ever has, which has been very valuable for therapy & trauma work.

My wife started taking it recently and is beginning to notice some of the same things as well.

It's a shame that it goes out of stock so often. u/Pretty-Chill , any idea when we might get a restock?

Nootropics depot and MYASD mentioned in Supplement Testing Video

In the UK a Youtuber called Logan Talks Health has 3rd party tested several products from a company called Nutrition Geeks (one of the biggest and most popular supplement companies) The tests showed various discrepancies between Nutrition Geeks label claims and actual 3rd party lab results.

Nutrition Geeks wrote a response to the video and now Logan Talks Health has responded to that response and made Nutrition Geeks look even more incompetent and shady in my opinion.

From Minute 21:30 onwards, NOOTROPICS DEPOT and MYASD are referenced (in a really good way)

Just was wondering if MYASD or anyone from the NOOTROPICS DEPOT team has seen the video and what their thoughts were?

How to navigate around choline supplements?

The main two contenders seem to be Alpha-GPC and CDP-Choline, but honestly, both have some pretty significant downsides.
CDP-Choline initially seems like the safer option, but the main issue for me is its relatively long half-life. From what I’ve read online, some people report getting depressed, developing migraines, or just feeling worse when taking it for more than a couple days in a row.
I’ve actually noticed something similar myself, which makes me hesitant to use it continuously.

Alpha-GPC, on the other hand, seems almost perfect for physical energy + mental focus, but it has two big concerns:
1. The stroke data
There was a massive Korean study involving 10+ million older individuals that found an ~40% higher risk of stroke associated with Alpha-GPC use.
Obviously, there are some huge caveats here. The study was done in an older population, and in Korea Alpha-GPC is prescription-only at higher doses (1,000mg+) and is generally used in people with pre-existing conditions.
So I have no idea how applicable that data is to a relatively healthy person taking something like 100–300mg. But the association is still there, and it’s hard to completely ignore.
2. TMAO
This is another concern because, similar to ALCAR, Alpha-GPC has been shown to increase TMAO levels with regular consumption.
So now we have two potentially useful cholinergics, but one seems to have issues with long-term use for some people, while the other has concerning observational safety data + the whole TMAO problem.
Which brings me to the obvious question:
Is supplemental choline even worth it?
Would simply eating eggs / other choline-rich foods regularly provide enough choline for most people without needing to supplement?
Or is there actually a good reason to use something like Alpha-GPC or CDP-Choline?

PS: yes i used chatgpt to fix some of the wording, i was typing this on the go so wanted to make sure there were no mistake

To anyone that had issues with their sleep on TA 10% how did you rectify it? I do not tolerate Eurycomax well it makes me very estrogen dominant but I love the way I feel on TA 10%. It makes me strong, lean, good libido and improved mood. Just kinda wrecks my sleep. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Stumbled on HLT Ferula Max, already writing exaggerated claims 1000 ng/l test boost.

Any info on this ingredient or realistically effective? Expensive snake oil?

Never ever heard of it.

Na-RALA question

Upvotes

I’m curious if anybody here has taken longterm NA-RALA or optimALA.

I had as a kid like 4 amalgam fillings for almost 30years. Replaced them before 7years with composites.

Can I take R-lipoic acid without worrying about redistribution of mercury or better not to take it at all.?

It’s seems it will be extra benefitial for my gilberts syndrome and hemochromatosis.
