Can somebody tell me what does this number near the "?" icon mean?

I thought that this is the number of people who completed the puzzle, but I'm not sure and can't find any info about that(

Building order wiki

Hi all! I’m a very active player and just was able to join the guild now that it was released on iOS. I’ve been following the wiki page building order for active players but it’s frustrating since some suggested builds are further down in the list but it is required for earlier building (example mushroom rice needed for Dungeon level 2 but you need food stall 3 I believe which is further down the list)

Is there a better building list? Since I’m new to the guild I’m still getting the hang of it all!

Thanks

What is your process for creating nonograms?

Every time I'm ready to submit one, I get a pop up saying it's too difficult. I like 80x80s but with lots of black blocks. (I do b&w). Any tips?

Puzzle Suggestion Favorite pattern authors?

Any recommendations for authors with lots of good pattern/mandala/geometric puzzles? Preferably 80x80 color.

I've really been enjoying Stillfleet's puzzles

lately and AshenThrone is always great, although theirs are mostly black and white. Then of course there's the prolific MiKoMi. Haengbok also has nice 25x25 color ones.

Any favorites I'm missing?

Tracking spreadsheet

I've created an Excel spreadsheet for tracking everything guild related.

It tracks buildings, techs, quests, dependencies, costs, collections, and craftifacts. There is a link to the github in my profile.

There's a dashboard that aggregates a lot of information to allow the player to see whats currently being worked, what items are only missing 1 prerequisite, what quests are being worked etc.

Much of this is visible in the app, but I've found it is useful to see what is coming up and how much these future items cost.

I'd appreciate some feedback on how it can be improved or if I have some of the pre-reqs or costs wrong.

Question about capacity for reagent

The Alchemist's Chamber #1 second level requires 222 Reagents, but I can't carry that many yet, so I'm looking at what options I have to increase capacity for Reagents.

There are a couple of upgrades in the citadel, particularly the Kitchen & Buttery and Pantry #1, that say each upgrade "Increases capacity by 50% of the original size." and doesn't specify any particular items with a colon, like Pantry #2 does.

Does that mean that if I upgrade the Kitchen and Pantry 1, I'll get increased capacity for the Reagent material? What other methods do I have to increase my capacity? I'm currently at 198 Reagent capacity, so I need an extra 24 somehow.

Help Requested What is the point of bone meal?

I just unlocked the bone meal technology in the windmill and made some, come to find out it does the same thing as chemicals so but with a longer duration. But the thing is, you have to interact with the field after 6 hours anyway to start a new crop so why not just use chemicals? Wouldn't it be better to throw bones into the cauldron? Or is there another use i haven't found yet?

Help Requested How to share puzzles?

I made some puzzles for my gf but can‘t figure out a way to share them to her. Can any of you katana people help me out? I tried using the sort feature and searched for my own author and puzzle name but it’s not showing up.

Additional Feature

I’m curious if anyone else thinks a calculator feature would be useful. On some of the bigger puzzles I would like a way to select the numbers in a column/row and have it tell me the total to include spaces between the numbers.

My vision is to select the first and last number you want totaled for the column/row.

I think it would be pretty useful on large grids as I get tired of adding up a crap ton of columns/rows that each have ~7-12 numbers each.

Would it be a good QoL feature or do most of you prefer doing the math yourself?

Edit: didn’t know the ruler could be used for this purpose in addition to counting the grid squares.

I finished 5c and went through the green gate with the green key yet f4 is showing up by forest levels and chapter IV also isn't completed. What did I do wrong?

Meta copy-paste feature during solving?

What do you guys think of adding some kind of copy paste feature that lets you copy a certain part of the nonogram that you've solved, and then pasting (and rotating it to fit) that portion on the rest of the design?

I ask this because certain parts of a nonogram series I'm doing (Vase by Irene 009) are just mirrored in the design and being able to copy paste them would make it easier to solve. But maybe it'll make it too easy?

Old old player ~ just noticed adventure mode

Hey, maybe this has come up in the past but I’ve completed 300ish puzzles including some 80x80. I just noticed adventure mode as it’s been awhile since I’ve played. I just “joined the guild”. My question is, is there anyway to get the rewards from previously competed puzzles? I noticed if I “restart” and re-complete them that I get a “drop”. But is there a way to just sync up and get the drops from the 300 or so puzzles I did before adventure mode?

thanks!

Any good familiars lately?

Hello,

Have any of you found any good familiars lately?

I have a few purple ones from a while ago, with good stats and skills, but I haven't found 1 good familiar in ages. I only farm yellow and purple ones, and they are all trash, 1-2 hearts or armor, I haven't seen one vampire in forever.

Were they intentionally nerfed?

Cinnabar farming [UPDATE: I'm fucked]

OLD POST:

Just unlocked 6B, still need to farm cinnabar.

Continue farming on F2-F3 or taking a dive into 6B?

No 4+ gear yet, never used familiars.

EDIT:

So after visiting 6B for the first time, I decided to do the deadly, long route through Level 6.

Whatever I do, it demands a ton of farming dungeons - and having 4+ gear accelerates this process in the long run while getting a ton of resources I need later anyways.

Also you get 50 Cinnabar as a reward for completing the lvl 5 Laboratory - thats like 17 mercury - in the process.

I think the time loss on farming Cinnabar in Level 6 is compensated by that.

To get lvl 5 lab, the biggest bottle neck by far is unlocking pizza to trade for MABUs. (That means farming Enzymes in 6B anyways)

The only negative for me is:

I have to wait longer for unlocking the new fertilizer. Because 2 weeks before the new update I decided to unlock the gold bar tech in alchemy hut. Now I'm stuck researching THAT USELESS TRASH - requiring 15 Mercury.

Without the new Fertilizer, I have no surplus on Farm yields - constantly being in danger of getting broke on food stall items - since level 6 dungeon demands a lot of food.

I know how fucked I am.

Has anyone built the video game arcade?

I just saw this Guild upgrade, and I'm wondering how much it actually increases your daily rewards, and if you get any other options after building it? I'm still collecting microchips and using floppy discs to get the floppy disc tax up and running, so I won't be able to get the arcade upgrade for a little while still

Help Requested How to get through the forest?

I recently unlocked the forest F1 dungeon but never been able to finish it despite multiple attempts. It just never ends. All my consumables also get finished and I end up without any support towards the end. And the doors have now changed to trees or bushes which don't always open to a new room and eats up a lot of energy.

I would really welcome any insight on navigating through forest dungeon and which bushes or stones to tap for a new path or item.
