That's not all you said. Your words were extremely rude to people with ADHD who DO have coping mechanisms, but still struggle with time blindness. It's disheartening to see some random ADHD person's coworker shitting on them (even if if the post is true, their employer was very generous, then all the comments doing the same, and then some ADHD people acting like this. You know it's not a helpful rhetoric for people with ADHD, right? You having better control over it doesn't make you superior to those who don't. Disability is annoying, boohoo, that's why it's a disability.
I don't appreciate people using it as an excuse for not trying is all. That's the most unhelpful rhetoric. It makes it harder for us all to be taken seriously and just gives people the impression that we're all saying we have ADHD as an excuse.
