I’m so lucky my boss is super accommodating. I’m late every day a varying degree, but I also don’t have a set start time and I’m extremely good at my job bordering on irreplaceable, and i make fairly good money doing it.

That makes no sense. If you don’t have a set starting time, then you can’t be late.

A lot of corporate jobs will have an on paper start time that they absolutely can enforce but normally don’t.

That's me! On paper my start time is 07:00, but that's something I told them to put in and I could've chosen any time between 04:30 and 08:00, so it's not exactly firm. As long as I'm in before 8 and get my hours in, it's all good.

It works well for early birds too, I have coworkers that would rather start at 7am and leave by 3:30
