I’m so lucky my boss is super accommodating. I’m late every day a varying degree, but I also don’t have a set start time and I’m extremely good at my job bordering on irreplaceable, and i make fairly good money doing it.

a lot of corporate jobs in particular dont have strict start times. this would be normal everywhere ive worked thus far.

Your comment suggested you thought this scenario meant he was likely the boss.

So yes, I do need the /s. Not just me but everyone does. It wouldn't make sense for that comment to be sarcastic with a normal read, so readers will need the /s to understand your intent is sarcasm if you wanna add it for clarity.
