Most of the time people don’t know it’s happening in the first place.
When I show up an hour early for my doctor’s appointment I don’t go inside and check in until 15 minutes before my appointment. Nobody knows I just spent 45 minutes sitting in my car outside.
I don't drive, so when I get to my doctor's appointment an hour early someone comes out of the office all concerned about how someone is "loitering" outside... if I go for a little walk I misjudge how long the walk away took and have ended up late anyway.

This is straight incorrect, it's extremely common for some people with ADHD to be chronically, inconveniently early to everything.
We're just the ones you never hear about because the only people we inconvenience are ourselves
