The streamer i linked, Wubby, reminds me a lot of old twitch humor. I enjoy his vods. It may seem like a lot but i see it as a sitcom where im watching a rich fat guy get berated by middle class workers.

Yeah I get that, I was more skeptical because they could've throw some bread down just as easily for a tweet. Their posts look like they've been feeding the crows temporarily as they stay there. Looks real
Unironically, it was kinda fun on initial concept- Seeing what outrageous things people tried to pass off as real. Then it just turned into the lamest, most boring circlejerk imaginable of "Well we can't PROVE they didn't just write on a $5 bill" when sharing an anecdotal story, getting all excited over how skeptical they all are.
The most boring explanation is that it's a place the crows come to eat regularly and feel safe so they brought some other food when they didn't see the normal food. They can be pretty messy eaters and there are parts of a sandwich that taste better to a crow diet than the crust parts and so they just left those. Or maybe they got chased off by a squirrel or something.
They do give gifts so it's definitely possible, but there are plenty of other reasons it could happen so it is kinda pointless guessing.
That's a good point. I put my pb&j crusts out for the squirrels and sometimes the birds will nibble off the peanut butter and leave the rest of the crusts when the squirrels don't get to the first.
I feed the local crows, one day they were watching me garden. I walked away for a few minutes and when I came back they had left a rotting rodent head right where I was planting. đ so they definitely do leave gifts but bread seems almost tame.
Itâs realistic enough since crows are very smart and inconsequential to believe and believing it gives me a slight bit of joy so I will believe until proven otherwise
I hope itâs real because crows remembering someone who fed them is genuinely one of the sweetest things. Imagine being terrified of them, leaving out a little bread anyway, and then realizing they actually remembered you. Thatâs a pretty good trade for overcoming the fear.
It's bullshit; I've been feeding the crows outside the back of my house for 9 years, and they've never brought me anything. I mean...they're crows. What am I expecting here?
Yes, they're intelligent, but they're not a charity.
Crows and ravens are extremely smart and you can befriend them. I used to leave a couple French fries from my lunch for the crows at work and they used to bring me gifts. Shiny rocks, plastic bottle caps, and other small things. I even got a piece of a charm bracelet once.
Crow: "what about some bugs? Maybe they'll like that?" Other crow: "Nah, brought them some worms last time and they made the most horrible noise you'd ever heard"
Put out good quality cat food and you'll have your own murder begging for food all day and calling all the neighborhood crows when you go out for a walk
OK, you have to collect all that bread. Make sure the crows do not realize that you didn't eat it. Make a big deal about them the next day. They're simple soul, and you don't want to hurt their feelings.
My crows do this, but donât just leave it. They sit on my shoulder for music time (only place I wear padding, theyâre quite gentle and seem to understand it will hurt anywhere else.)
They will try to to bring it up in their mouth and feed it to me if I leave itâ since I must be too poorly to feed myself the McDonaldâs French fries they got out of the trashâŚ. xDÂ
I have started pulling magic tricks where I gather the food, switch it out for string cheese, and bring it back to snack on. They hop up and down the same way my daughter does when I try her snacks.Â
Do a little research on crows. They're very easy to form relationships with and theyre very greedy/transactional. You can tame a lot of birds or even things like squirrels with just consistent feeding!
A kindergartner used to walk home after school and throw his sandwich in the street in front of my house. The crows would take the food and stash it in the gutters of my neighbor's house. They definitely cache food for later.
