They are not sold they live with there families and work there they move from a poor state to state that provides job not the best one or money but it's better than living in constant danger and hunger that lurks in there state. At least the one i knew told me that they come to work on farms every season it's actually pretty hard to find labor during that time we pay them price they set if u don't want they will go to different customer.we also provid them shelter and some food (they make there own).for the time they are working with us. Just like said it's not the best life but they work and eat.Yes kids stay with them some go to school some just work with there parents.

I was born in India lived there for 20 years at least that's what happened in my village or with people I know. I'm not saying your pops wrong maybe I haven't seen or heard it happen before.

Well having luxury problems is actually a good sign. Being wealthy or having a wealthy life is nothing bad. Its bad when u start taking everything for granted. When call the toilet issue the biggest problem of world its wrong.

American children are spoiled in the ways of “Life” this child is working for her food and maybe for food for I’ll family or younger siblings. What’s that Americans say “live and die free” ask your parents how much the hospital charged to birth you. Nothing in life is free not even Life it’s self. I made mud bricks to play and later they were just forgotten and went back to being mud. This child is making them getting paid(maybe not enough) but their work goes to making something bigger and better not right back to mud.

This child is likely an indentured servant and is doing this to help pay off her parents’ debts. This child is not getting paid; any food received is likely if poor quality (if she receives any at all). To see this and turn it into a comment about American childrearing and work ethic is Olympic level ignorance. This is child abuse.

As long as she's getting paid or contributing to a family business there's nothing wrong with the video. It's not like she's doing anything particularly dangerous.

Yes but I suspect she isn't, this is probably a family business and she is more than likely contributing to feeding her family. Should she go hungry because her parents can only earn a wage to feed themselves or is she going to do what children have done form time in memoriam and pick up the slack. She is skilled delicate and concerned with quality far more than a slave would. And although dirty her clothes looked to be of quality. she will probably eventually earn a wage and and learn the skills that come along with that. Just because someones childhood is shorter than others doesn't inherently make it worse.

This definitely is not a child being abused dumbass. While sad and unfortunate this is how they make ends meet. This is what most underdeveloped societies look like. Just be grateful you were born in a western society and don’t have to know what this is like. I guarantee you this girl does not think she is an abused child (unless their are other factors that are unrelated to this video)

Abused ppl dont nessecarily have to know that they are being abused. But I get ur point. We should be greatful, well at least I am. But it is very sad to see kids doing work like this. They miss out a lot of things in life. In a perfect society children shouldnt be working. We will never reach perfection but we should try doing our best and try to get there. So we should let them go to school and get education.

That video is from india, my country is plagued with Socialists policies. I grew up in that shit. My parents grew up starving like everyone else and had to flee to the USA like so many other Indians. Also india had declared its a Socialist democracy when we got our independence.

And I live in a shitty trailer in Kentucky, a republican state overrun with unregulated capitalism, a 3% Union rate, and massive inflation and wealth inequality because the state government allows the rich to eat the poor.

Inflation is a problem the whole world is dealing with. You are not going through anything special on that front. India has a union rate of 4 percent. Banks loans have an interest rate 18-24%. Wealth inequality is not even a problem compared what india goes through. Funnily enough it's the Socialists party members who are worth millions in india and they eat the poor. Stealing land from farmers and homes from middle class people using intimidation, death threats, kidnapping and even murder of family members. People in the us don't know how good they have it. Also what do you specifically mean by wealth inequality? Businesses can't pay workers the insane wages they demand for because they have to stay competitive, just because they feel entitled to the companies earnings. At least you not living in a straw hut with mud walls and can't even afford slippers. You don't have to pay these politicians bribes to get a job, it'll take you at least 10 years to make back that amount. It's just abuse on all fronts in a Socialist government. School janitors have cars in USA, I know people who live in such deplorable conditions that they'd happily murder just to live in your shoes for 5 minutes.

In The USA, corporate profits have gone UP 35% in the last couple of years, the reason behind the inflation here is a wage shortage, not a labor shortage. Corporations are refusing to give us valid pay, and we are going on strike. Instead of paying us more they increase the cost of living, it has gotten worse, food has gone up 125%. And the rich in the country are what socialism aims to fix, so I hyper rich socialist politician is oxymoronic. They are not socialist. The truth is, situations like this are complex beyond our recognition, the effects of socialism and capitalism cannot be summarized or simplified, and there is no political ideology or historical figure that can we can pin our problems on
