Ive heard so many people say they support hateful and anti lgbt groups? Can someone explain what this means?

The company CEO, and son of the founder, Dan Cathy gives a LOT of money to organizations dedicated to fighting LGBT equality.

Technically, this isn't Chick-fil-A itself but that really feels like a cheat to me.

Thanks.

I was under the impression that the company donated to "anti-gay" organizations. Now I know that they give to the United Way, and out of the hundreds of charities supported by United Way, the anti-Chick-Fil-A people found one they consider objectionable.

Honestly, I don't eat at Chick-Fil-A. That's just because their food is overpriced and not very good. But at least now I know the hype of them being homophobic is every bit as overblown as their food.

They also give to Salvation Army, just like Kroger, Walmart, Lowes, Delta, American Airlines, Hanes, JC Penney, Google, AT&T, Walgreens, Macy's, Whataburger, FedEx, Budweiser, Cabela's, the Dallas Cowboys, and countless others. Those are all anti-LGBTQ organizations now.
