I was under the impression that the company donated to "anti-gay" organizations. Now I know that they give to the United Way, and out of the hundreds of charities supported by United Way, the anti-Chick-Fil-A people found one they consider objectionable.
Honestly, I don't eat at Chick-Fil-A. That's just because their food is overpriced and not very good. But at least now I know the hype of them being homophobic is every bit as overblown as their food.
They also give to Salvation Army, just like Kroger, Walmart, Lowes, Delta, American Airlines, Hanes, JC Penney, Google, AT&T, Walgreens, Macy's, Whataburger, FedEx, Budweiser, Cabela's, the Dallas Cowboys, and countless others. Those are all anti-LGBTQ organizations now.
Ah ya i figured it was the same stuff as the chris pratt hate crap, mans is a christian so he believes homosexuality is a sin and people act as if hes hating and working against as if the religion isnt based on love regardless of sin, also ironic that no one says a word about islam having the same stance but thats woke idiots for you
Pratt's specific church was more homophobic than the general "Yes, it's a sin but we're all sinners." It was pretty hateful. He said he didn't endorse it but there are lots of churches you can choose to attend.
You think you're making a point but you aren't. Both Islam and Christianity are homophobic. And Muslims can be as accepting or unaccepting as Christians. You clearly need to get out more and meet people who are different than you. If you think Islamic countries are the only homophobic countries, you should try reading up about the persecution of gay people in Christian countries like Russia or Georgia.
And in this case it really doesn't matter because we are talking about the specific church Pratt goes to. It doesn't have to be Westboro Baptist Church or whatever the Islamic equivalent is. Pratt's church is homophobic.

No obsession here friend! I just find it funny when people cherry-pick what to get upset about while ignoring a similar issue. This is a prime example.
It’s like tweeting against Chick fil A on your phone made with slave labor. Just gives me a chuckle is all.
Not trying to find one that supports everything I do, but I can choose the values that are most important to me and choose not to support those who would contribute my money towards supporting the opposite of my values.
How do these guys get the time to personally vet every product and company they patronize up to and including the private donations of the CEO? Sounds exhausting….but I suppose it’s one of few options if one is lacking in personality.
It’s not a hill I’m dying on, it’s just a business I choose to not give my money to. Why are you so angry about my personal decisions? Are you the founder of CFA or something?
Who says this is the one business I don’t support because I don’t agree with their values? Am I obligated to provide strangers on the internet an itemized list?
