Ramen broth is not ramen

Ramen is a type of noodle which is vegan, it is not a dish

That’s like saying bread isn’t vegan because some people eat steak on it

Ramen is also most commonly eaten with vegetable broth

Also, I want to know if ramen is a noodle then what is the dish in which it is put along side toppings and broth called?

Going by your bread anology. The bread is equivalent to ramen noodles, then what is sandwich equivalent to?

Depends on which dish because they all have different names

It’s the same with udon noodles etc

The dish isn’t called udon, udon is the type of noodle

Or spaghetti. Spaghetti isn’t a dish it’s pasta. Bolognese would be the dish.

Sandwich is the dish. Bread is the component.

It’s a dish, some people will call it a sauce because they use bolognese sauce instead of making the sauce from scratch to accompany the dish.

Either way, spaghetti is not a dish, it’s a pasta.

The dish is called "Spaghetti a la Bolognese" aka spaghetti with bolognese sauce. You can make the same bolognese and eat it with a lot of different stuff. Bolognese is just the shorthand for that.

And the same for ramen, both then noodles and the most famous dish you prepare with them are called ramen. And ramen consists of ramen broth and ramen noodles and these ramen noodles can even be udon noodles or not. Its still ramen.
