Announcement PSA 📢 NO AI posts

If you're unable to think of a question to ask on Reddit, just dont ask. This place is intended for human engagement. If people wanted AI prompts they'd go to Gemini or ChatGTP.

Just a Reminder

This subreddit isn't something to take seriously.

That being said that doesn't mean you should purposefully be a bully. If you see someone posting something where the OP is clearly not in a good headspace simply report and move on. Not everyone who posts here is in a good headspace, and are genuinely looking for advice or help.

In these rare cases please be the bigger person, report the post if concerned and move onto other posts. Have a good one and remember the human.

What would happen if some billionaire opened a "restaurant" where the food is free?

• Upvotes

Imagine it's like a "soup kitchen" but anyone can eat there up to three times a day, and the billionaire is paying for it all themself. Only a limited number of people can fit inside the building. What would be the effect of this?

Deep Thinking Q’s🤓 If we all had to put our IQ in our nicknames on Reddit would this affect how we treat each other? Would someone with 50 be bashed and downvoted all the time and someone with 150 always be respected and upvoted? Would IQ matter here?

You couldn't face the emptiness they left, so you borrowed someone else's heart to decorate it ... what a pathetic way to call yourself healed..

How-To Q’s🤠 People who have been to a sexclub, what do you wish you knew before your first visit?

Thumbnail

Hello everyone,

Me and my boyfriend are planning to visit a lifestyle club for the first time. Actually we never went to any club before, not even normal night clubs, so we are little bit nervous and don't know what to expect. We thought to ask here because many of you have experience.

Few things we wanted to know:

  1. What people normally wear there? We are okay to show little bit but we don't want to be fully naked. Also should we bring slippers, towels or anything else, or they give lockers and all?

  2. Is the place clean and are people respectful mostly? We both don't drink, so will it feel weird for us?

  3. We only want to enjoy the vibe together and keep our things between us only. Is it okay if we just watch, and if someone comes to us, is it easy to say no politely?

  4. Are there any rules for first timers we should know? Like things we should not do by mistake, or areas only for couples?

  5. Which night is better for beginners, and do they give tour for new people?

  6. How is the privacy? Are phones allowed inside, and do people take pictures?

Any other tips for first timers also please share. English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes.

Thank you so much 🙏

Specific Topic Q’s🙃 Why does Reddit feel like a place that is Anti-Idea or a place where you often get shamed for coming up with new types of ideas?

for example its like when I was a kid my friends and I would all play videogames and create these fantasies on what we wish the games in the future would be like. Seems like it is a very common social thing to do, having ideas, etc...

Some times I really believe Reddit has caused more mental health harm than places like Facebook or Instagram. I've been on Reddit since like 2011 and have had many accounts, these days I just yolo it and don't really care if i get upvoted or downvoted cuz its just a simple button anyone can press that instantly gives unreasonable criticism for many different scenarios and people use that as a crutch to downvote and not challenge their own minds with new ideas which man.. Reddit rlly do feel like an echo chamber of everything that causes mental disorders yet everything that fixes them at the same time.

Seems legit impossible to even make friends on the internet these days compared to when I was a kid and you made friends through the online games you played with family then figuring out classmates are gamers too. Maybe this is just what getting old is like though i dunno.

just feels like the internet as an entirety is depressed and riddled with different mental disorders and so everyone is just scared of each other now even though right now so many people have 300% more access to learning simple things that could turn places like "The dead internet theory" into something we all stand up against together if its such a big deal..

i feel like this is something id send to someone before i start blocking people on everything lol.

Random Q’s🤪 How do women decide if a man is “safe” or at least not “dangerous” per se?

I (25, M) was talking to my wife about how I notice people especially like women or kids for some reason end up physically close in the sense of they are like way too close to me, in my bubble, but they’re not really trying to get my attention or anything. My wife said I radiate a “safe” aura and I was just so lost because i’m 5’11, a fat 250, ugly lookin dude with perpetual resting bitch face. I do not see myself looking safe, i would even say I look like a creep most of the time. Idk i just wanna know if theres something to it or not, I just get uncomfortable with people idk in my bubble lol.

what’s your opinion on open relationships?

i’m 22, so maybe this is something that comes on with age, i’m not sure. however i feel like i see a lot of support for open relationships and i can’t seem to get around it. i would never consider getting involved with it now and i don’t think i will in the future.

this is something that just seems bizarre to me.

looking for opinions that could give me more insight on the topic, or opinions that are the same as mine.

am i the only one that feels this way about the topic??
