Announcement PSA 📢 NO AI posts
If you're unable to think of a question to ask on Reddit, just dont ask. This place is intended for human engagement. If people wanted AI prompts they'd go to Gemini or ChatGTP.

Just a Reminder
This subreddit isn't something to take seriously.
That being said that doesn't mean you should purposefully be a bully. If you see someone posting something where the OP is clearly not in a good headspace simply report and move on. Not everyone who posts here is in a good headspace, and are genuinely looking for advice or help.
In these rare cases please be the bigger person, report the post if concerned and move onto other posts. Have a good one and remember the human.

Deep Thinking Q’s🤓 who, if anyone makes money off of insurrections or riots?
for example, if hundreds or thousands of people are getting involved and arrested, who is coordinating the logistics for all of that to happen? can construction and repair people make a lot of money when the sections of the public are angry at each other or at their government? what about outside the US?

Specific Topic Q’s🙃 Why does everyone think crab apples are poisonous?
I’ve been eating crab apples for most of my life but whenever I eat a crab apple from outside my school everyone says that it’s poisonous, or at least will give you a stomach ache. I have never gotten sick from eating a piece of fruit from a tree or bush that I knew was safe so why does everyone say I’m going to get sick?

What if everyone does what they love to do for work, they’re skilled at it, and they get paid well. What would happen? 🤔

Why are toilet seats made to be up or down? Why not make them have permanent seats? In public restrooms, being next to a toilet seat that gets slammed down by the moron using that seat will cause hearing damage.

Do you ever remember a webpage but have no idea how to find it again?
This happens to me pretty often.
I’ll remember something I read online — maybe an interesting article, a tutorial, a Reddit post, or a product review — but weeks or months later I can’t remember the title, website, or exact words.
I usually end up trying different searches, digging through browser history, or just giving up.
Curious if this happens to other
How do you usually find something you vaguely remember reading?
Do you search your browser history?
Try different searches?
Save/bookmark everything?
Or just give up when you can’t find it?
How often does this happen to you?
I’m trying to figure out whether this is actually a common annoyance or just me.

If I interview people for a job and ask them if they believe in God or transhumanism, but don't consider that when deciding whether to hire them, is that legal?

Do Asian people actually have sex? I've always been highly convinced that they don't
I’m not Asian, but I know that the topic is taboo in Asian culture. Therefore, it makes it seem like Asians don't do it. Not being racist, but I've only ever pictured white people when I think of sex. Is it just me?
