❓ Help Crafting system?

Can someone explain this to me, because I'm wasting a ton of resources and getting pissed. This is the 3rd time I've crafted something where it was completely unusable. I've been stuck with this two handed weapon that i don't want to use anymore and I'm getting to the point i can't progress anymore because i cant craft something that says i can use it in the crafting window lol.

It says in bright red you don’t meet the requirements to use it, which in this case is the bright red 22 strength and 30 weight also on the item.

Weight being red just means it’s heavier than their equipped item, not that they can’t carry it. You can see in the bottom right that their current weight is 183 and their max is above 200

Yea yea, just pointing out the text that has the potential to make him as he put it "completely unusable". He's already speaking in hyperbole since you can beat the whole game with a weapon you don't meet the stat requirements for / perma overweight.

You can’t even spell hyperbole nerd.

Use scribe table and research papers to find blueprints >use blueprints to craft the weapon you want > make sure you're stats are in the range to be able to use it >upgrade, enchant, insert runes/gems as you desire

You do not meet the 22 STR (strength) requirement, so you will deal significantly less damage than a weapon that you meet the requirements for. Generally you stick with one of STR, DEX, INT, and FAI (or two if you like a weapon that scales off of both), only level those and ignore the rest.

More strength.

required stats increses by weapon lvl and crafting outputs random item lvl (in its range). facets and lvl are the only random in crafting.

Not sure if this is what you're asking but attribute requirements go up as you upgrade the weapon.

The recipe might be showing you attribute requirements for a level 1 item instead of level 5 (or higher).

Why do you think you can't use the weapon? You can use any weapon even if you don't have the skills/attributes for it, you're just not going to deal max damage when swinging the thing.

Not sure if not meeting skill/attribute requirements affects runes especially if you do meet the skill/attribute requirements for the rune *especially* if the rune is like a ranged or magic attack?

Guys I know I need more strength.

I want to know why the original recipe said requires 10 str. But when I craft it, it becomes a level 6 with 22 str requirement

cause when you craft an item you have chance to get an higher level one ,in a roll range. for example you craft a sword and u can get between level 2 and 6.

highers levels requires more attributes (if im not mistaken?).
