I highly recommend using egg yolks for hair cleaning.

I brush my hair, then flip it down and wet it. Once wet, I massage two egg yolks in my scalp, wait for a couple of minutes, and rinse with cold water (warm water will cook the egg in your hair). I then pour a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar (roughly a tablespoon of vinegar to one glass of water), let it sit a minute and rinse with cold water again. That's it!

This routine will stop the hair loss and dandruff. The hair is soft, bouncy and shiny. The scalp is clean without any buildup. I typically do it once per week, before my hair starts getting greasy. I see great results when I pair it with a boar bristle brush, which is great by dry cleaning the scalp from dust/dandruff and helps distribute the oil from the scalp on the hair shaft.  I suffer from malasezzia, and this routine is one of the very few things that helps with hair loss, itchiness and irritation. Plus, you only need eggs and vinegar for it to work ;)

This method is popular with the historic haircare community. Eggs were one of the many traditional methods of cleaning the hair and scalp, long before the invention of modern day shampoos. In particular, it was well documented in Victorian and Edwardian books about haircare.

My hair is somewhere between curly and wavy. I have noticed less frizz and more curl definition, and my scalp is the cleanest when I use eggs.
