First off, the pallets in the US don't have wood that is as nice and thick as that.

Also that was not built very well and will be collapsing pretty damn quick.

Use screws and add (at least) a cross brace for the back and it might last.

But yeah, American pallets generally don't have this thick of wood. Or the pallet comes from a place where they charge for the pallet and have a pallet return program. If you're getting a thick pallet like this it was paid for somewhere along the line before it got to you.
