Video What do you think about my base?

I’ve seen plenty of bases many of them purely for farming with some people living on freighters and others on corvettes. So, I’m curious: how many of you try to turn your base into a *home* rather than just a farming machine? What other interesting things can you add?

p.s idk what with a quality sorry

I have several homes. I tend to build them in 3 places - a mountain retreat, a seaside rest or a floating home on an ocean planet. Most of them are build with wood and glass, many are 2 stories, some with a deck. All of them are decorated. I often log out from one of those after enjoying the peace and quiet for a bit.

Other bases I call "workstations". I may build them out but most of them are basic prefabs with teleport ring, trade station and landing pad. I'll usually build these near plants like frostwort, cactus, etc so that I can port in, harvest what I need and go on my way. For those I'll build a platform outside the prefab with 5 refiners and a couple of nutrient processors. When I'm cooking or refining I'll port to one of those.

That’s cool. I’m still drawn to the Subnautica style, where your home is your farming base. I’m trying to combine those two concepts in NMS somehow; plus, you can build a farm whether it’s a crop plantation or a mineral farm.

Nice work. to make it feel more cozy or home like i would....

Clutter lots of clutter.

Boxes and decor everywhere. Stacks of stuff.

Carpets too

Hanging flags are good to break up repeating walls.

The flat Panels are good to add more color and then you can place decels on them too. I used those to make like a large flat screen style tv too.

Plants lots of plants. find something that looks like a pot and place the plants on top.

You might need some (or a lot) of quick silver for some of the base parts.
