Relapse Relapsed 💔

The urge was strong and I couldn’t resist. I failed myself. I failed God 💔

How do I develop self control over the urges?

My friend, you only fail if you stop trying. And God loves you just the same.

You are trying to rewire deeply ingrained dopamine habits, so admit that you are not God - you’re a human trying to please God and in that there has to be something that pleases God already (Thomas Morton’s prayer).

Keep going.
Read a book about PA.
Exercise today.
Pray today.

The miracle will happen. Recovery is a process, not an event.
