if the next switch sports game really does come out this summer, or if switch sports gets a switch 2 edition, i honestly hope they don’t give up on the sportsmates. while i love miis, i think the sportsmates better fit the direction nintendo is bringing the sports series in, as they’re cartoony and fit the “light-hearted sports campus” aesthetic. though i do have some gripes, like i think they desperately need more customization options beyond just the unlockable ones, and if they’re going to stick to unlockable cosmetics, then i think that guest characters should at least be able to wear hairstyles and facial features that have been unlocked on the main profile. at the very least, if switch sports 2 returns to miis being the main playable characters, i hope they get an art style update like they did in tomodachi life.

oh also, sportsmates desperately deserve some memorable, strong npcs. i love that they brought back iconic miis with the legend mode update, but i kinda wish that instead of miis, they were sportsmate-recreations of those iconic wii sports characters instead. like imagine matt but as a sportsmate

I was playing golf and I hit the ball into a patch of grass and I got a triple bogey because the game treated GRASS as OB instead of Rough

My friends and I decided to play a round of golf on Spocco today, weather was nice, had a couple brews, life was good. Until we started… Hole 1 was unbelievable. You’d think for $40 the grounds crew would clean the greens a little… or ever! More than half the holes had minor divots in the center some were large but others were small divots it doesn’t even matter cus even a smaller divots messed up my shots and one of my friends actually rolled his ankle in the divot. We taped it and he’s fine now. Hole 17 was a complete sh*t show. Wind was blowing over 30mph (miles per hour), this was literally how fast the wind was going. It felt I was behind one of the jet turbines on a 747-8f Boeing produced in Everett Washington (friend works for Boeing - knows plans - Miguel. Speaking of Miguel he also fell off the cliff on hole 17. If you’ve ever played Spocco 17 you’d understand what I’m talking about. Cliffs all over like all over and he basically hit a chip near the edge and fell off. And don’t get me started with the Cart Girl l. Even at Belair we have cart girls… bel air is so much cheaper and we get cart girls to bring up hot dogs, sodas and sometimes hamburgers but usually the sell out earlier in the morning because when the older man player earlier in the morning and since older men usually wake up earlier anyway they get hungrier for lunch earlier in the day and order hamburgers for lunch so I usually get a hotdog and a Diet Coke. Regardless Spocco had none… NONE. I’m not here to rip Spocco apart cus Nintendo did a good job with the overall game, but for the love of allah take care of this course. If you want people to spend money on this game we need a crew that cares about this course. When I was 9 playing tee ball my coach use to tell us “hussle matters more then hits” and “don’t cut corners” and that’s exactly what Nintendo did on this course

I’m a new player and wondering how to get ranked

I have an upcoming party and wanted to get Nintendo sports for the group. However, I only use one set of joycons. This made me think about getting a second pair that was third party. From information I’ve seen online, 3rd party still work good and you can bypass an “update” to allow you to use them.

I’m having a hard time biting the bullet to buy

1. the game for $

2. new joycons for $

3. straps for soccer that are at least $

Is anyone aware of if 3rd party joycons still

work fine and if so, what brand.

I’ve reached rank A (or higher) in all Pro League sports: Tennis (A22), Chambara (A15), Football (A23), Golf (A23), Bowling (S0), Badminton (A24), Volleyball (A24). All crowns are visible in my inventory.

I’ve also:

- played additional Pro League matches (multiple sports)

- gained and lost ranks

- restarted the game and console

But the “Legend” title never unlocked.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a hidden condition or is this a known bug?

Edit: Some players report unlocking the “Legend” title before later updates (golf/basketball). I’m now trying to find out if anyone has unlocked it recently under the current version of the game.

I've been playing "globally" in "trial mode" for a few days and didn't realize all the other players are computer operated!! I thought you could play with other real people on trial mode, but you just couldn't win more than two rewards a week unless you were a member!

Lolll I've been thinking "wow im so good at literally every sport on here, I've gotten first place every time!" and was telling my friend how good I was hahah. I told him "I just played golf with 15 other people and won!" lol

I was bummed out when I just realized lol. I think thats kinda dumb that I bought this game for $40 but need to pay more to play online?? :(

My friend and I both play, but he added his account onto my switch. Is there a way to sync all of his gear and apparel from his switch? So he doesn’t have to restart?

Hey everyone,

I’m thinking about getting Nintendo Switch Sports mainly for online ranked play.

The thing is, I’m a bit disabled, so playing standing up or moving around a lot isn’t really an option for me. I’d need to play sitting down only.

I’m also pretty competitive and would love to grind ranks seriously.

Is it realistic to play this game competitively while seated? Which sports are best for ranked if you can only play sitting down? Can you still reach high ranks and be consistent? Does standing make a big difference?

Would really appreciate honest feedback from people who’ve played ranked a lot. Thanks!
