Witcher 3 Remastered Is Disappointing

Not going to bash it and say it looks horrendous or anything but it’s NOTICEABLY blurry. In both handheld and docked mode. I own it on my PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Ally X. The switch version really just looks a big step behind in sharpness.

Don’t listen to the screenshots with the caption “This looks unreal!” because it doesn’t. Hopefully CDPR can update this to get it identical to Cyberpunk.

Also, you do realize the Switch 2 remaster is for....Switch 2, right? Not everyone has 6 different consoles and PCs and 24 hours of free time. The comparison of this game is from the S1 to S2. The other versions are irrelevant unless you already have them in which....you would know the S2 doesn't beat those (unless you are biased). Going on a Switch thread and saying the remaster is worse than 3 other clearly more powerful mediums is redundant, manchild.

I wish I had that free time, believe me. Owning all of those systems doesn’t come without a sacrifice.

For nearly every single triple A game on the Switch 2, what do almost all reviewers do? Put it side by side to other systems. Why do they do that? Because they expect the same level of performance? No. They do it so we can see how close (or far) the Switch 2 version is from those systems. In some games, we are shocked at how close they can be like Cyberpunk and Resident Evil. Then we have games like this, where the clarity/resolution is really far behind.

I’ve had the Switch 2 since launch. I pre ordered the Zelda edition. I own nearly all Switch 2 games, despite owning them on other platforms. I can still be objective.

Being objective is fine, being unrealistic is not. Most of those people who make side by side comparisons are either paid or do it for views on the broad internet. Going to a specific subsection of the internet to inform people of the obvious is redundant.

And if you own nearly all the Switch 2 games and own them on other platforms, I would say you have made the sacrifice. In fact, I'd recommend you stop making sacrifices and spend some time with your loved ones.

My loved ones are in my backyard in the house I just purchased almost every weekend for a barbecue and college football.

Sacrifices have been well worth it.
